Trouble modifying posts

Hello,
The modify button appears to have vanished from my posts and I am unable to update them.  I have logged out and logged back in but the problem persists. 

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  Does anyone know how to fix it?

There is a 24 hour period in which you have time to make any edits to your posts.

I recall seeing a change that was made recently that the option to modify a post is no longer available after a post has been up for 32.8 seconds or something like that. After that we are to ask a mod to alter the post. Sorry I don't remember where I saw it but most likely was in Kristen Board thread.

Something to do with certain peeps that leave or get pissed and make their comments not readable.

This sounds right. I just checked a post I made 23 hrs ago and the modify button is still there.

1440 minutes to be exact, or 24 hours.


And, an FYI, you have exactly 90 seconds from the time you 'submit' a post, to modify it and save it again, before you get the little postscript note at the bottom that reads
