Metallica has covered so many songs that sound great. I have a playlist on Spotify called Not Garage INC that’s all the original songs that they covered. Over 5 hours of grey songs covering all types of music

New Order’s Bizarre Love Triangle has been covered a couple of dozen times by so many other artists. But I love this rendition by Postmodern Jukebox, because it turns it into a torch song, and makes it take on a whole different feel/meaning.

I suppose this counts as a "cover song":

"Sometimes the best things in life are a hot girl and a cold beer."

There are a few different posts I could have put this but I think this might be the best spot to get people to listen to it. This one’s for B

What a great post! Woo 2836.

The William Tell Overture was probably my earliest exposure to the world of classical music, although I wouldn't realize it for many years.

When he put the instrument on his head and still played flawlessly, my jaw dropped. Say what you will about Glen, he could pick a guitar.

Thanks for sharing this.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other, as both versions are good, but...

Separate Ways (cover) by Chris Daughtry and Lzzy Hale

Original by Journey

As covers go, the version everyone knows is already a cover of Prince song. This version is SO good to me

Alone by Heart

Originally by i-Ten

Also covered by Celine Dion but...nah, no point.  The only one people remember is Heart, but it is, in fact, a cover!
