Great show. It’s been renewed for season 2 at Colorado. Would love to see the Buffaloes beat TCU and Nebraska.  We will see soon enough.

Sessions 2-7 of The Office, minus season 5, disk three because it was missing from the box set.

Love the fifth element. Bruce willis was a "yes I would" something about the ripped up tux... I don't know. Anyways. Dissapointed Luke Perry didn't have a bigger role. Also I almost bought a Leeloo Halloween costume. Gold leggings, baby t, and orange sling version, not white bandage version.

The Office is one of my all time favorite sitcoms.   I should go back and rewatch the first few episodes of season 1.  I forget how it started.

 Modern Family is also a favorite, which we just watched season 1, episodes 1-4 last week.  I was "snort" laughing, I was laughing so hard.

Thanks to GeminiGuy and his recent story, I'm watching Grimm all over again. Its been on the Comet channel late at night, and also around 11:00 so I can see two episodes while at work, and it's on Saturday for a few hours. But I've been letting it play on prime all day.

Monroe makes me want to learn German.

The Tender Bar (2021) A bittersweet piece, based on the true life of memoir about Pulitzer Prize winner JR Moehringer’s childhood on Long Island. For all of us who have had alcoholic fathers who abandoned them, it’ll tug your heart strings. Great performance by Ben Affleck, who plays Uncle Charlie. Moehringer made headlines recently when he ghost wrote Prince Harry’s biography “Spare.”

Black Adam didn’t lose money, but it was an under-performer in both the superhero add Dywane “the Rock” Johnson line of movies. Can’t really say anything good about it, except maybe former Bond Pierce Brosnan. He was the only person who brought 1 ounce of elegance to the film.

I haven't been a fan of any Dwayne Johnson movies since ever. 
Who doesn't like Pierce? Nobody. 

Also not a fan of Ben Afleck.   I liked him in his up and coming days.  Know I can't stand him.  I watched Tender Bar when it first came out.  I remember enjoying it, but thinking it would have been better without Ben.  Also didn't like him in Air.  I just see him on the screen and my mind screams "asshole"

I thought Allan wanted to watch the wheel of time with me, but he was only interested because I was so excited about the new episodes. Since he doesn't really care, I was gonna watch it in my own. Started playing but it went to the first episode first season. Since it's been a bit and it diesnt fully follow the books like most adaptations I figured I'll watch it all over again.

Then I remembered what angered me the most about this version. What they did to Perrin is an absolute atrocity to the character. He wasn't a married blacksmith that accidental killed his wife, he was an apprentice to a blacksmith with no wife and wasnt "in love" with Egwene. I love his character arch, not simple because he communicates with wolves, but his entire storyline to me is most interesting.

Anyways, like MJ, I decided to re-read the entire series to right these wrongs, but that is going to have to wait, since I cant find most of the books. Probably accidentally donated them to charity along with my sex toys and lingerie.

Also. If I were and Aes Sedai, I'd totally be Green Ajah. 4 Warders... maybe 5

It's been so long, I'll have to look up which each mean.  Brown had a thirst for knowledge and knew history well.  Definitely Barb.  But Red didn't like men, or was it only men that could touch the source. I'll have to do a bit of googling.

We might have to start a separate WoT thread.  Especially if we share when Elaine touched the one power when holding the terangreal. I was a couple of books ahead of Dan in the series and he read that and asked, "Did the princess just have an orgasm?"

Not having read the books makes it hard to follow. Then again, if there's big departures from the book 📚 t can be upsetting.

Watched Who Is Erin Carter on Netflix.

It’s OK. A bit slow but only 7 episodes. I made it thru in a little over a week.

We watch "Erin Carter" a week ago. We really enjoyed  it. Zipped through the episodes in a couple days. Looking forward to season two.

Not the last thing, but future watch. We'll be diving into season five of "Virgin River" at noon today.

It's a chick show, but once I started watching it I was hooked. The show revolves around a nurse practitioner who leaves big city life behind for a small Northern California town filled with some kooky characters.

Then there's the on again off again love affair with the owner of the town's bar.

Season five dropped this morning with a season six already signed for.

I watched a 2003 documentary on the life and music of British guitarist Richard Thompson. There's a low-resolution copy on YouTube and a far better TV rip on Usenet.

I've followed Richard's musical career from his days with Fairport Convention, then as a duo with his wife Linda, then as a solo performer. I've also followed Linda's solo career and that of their son Teddy. Their music is part of my life. The documentary offers many fascinating insights by musicians, producers, and even comedian Billy Connolly. Narration is by John Peel.

It was sad to see Dave Swarbrick breathing through an oxygen tube, or to hear John Peel's mellifluous voice cracking with old age. It catches up with all of us.

What I want to see, but can’t, is “Ed” with Tom Cavanaugh and Julie Bowen. A funky little show about a big city lawyer who returns to his hometown in Ohio and buys the local bowling alley. Kind of a funky “Newhart.”

I read that the problem is the soundtrack. The show featured so many Grunge era pop hits that they can’t afford to pay the royalties. So four seasons of this great show are sitting in a warehouse somewhere. *sigh*

Having seen Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, Mrs Obi and I decided to re-watch the 1980 BBC version starring Sam Waterston.  Thought it was still very good and that the persecution of Oppenheimer was slower paced and better expounded than in the film.  Note to self - must get a copy of "Nuclear Fission & Atomic Bombs For Dummies"
