Do the fun and games posts not count also?  They didn’t at one point, because the word games and counting games are sort of no brainers.

I was wondering the same thing. I think Rather than an error Message , The powers that be might consider a quick sentence giving this information to save confusion. I felt like I had done something wrong.

I'm new here as well.  And from my point of view I'm going to say it is a trust thing.  It took some time before I could view anything, and now that I've been here, shared some stories, and shown I can follow the rules, I can see them.

There is a minimum of five posts required before profiles are visible to new KBers.  You're almost there. Just a couple more and more of the KB world will open up to you.

At the top of the board is "Kristen's Board". Rules and other requirements along with answers to many other questions are there.

Everyone always wants to start at the " sexy stuff" first. (Like I did) Check out that section and you'll increase your enjoyment of KB. :D

The other thing that bears telling a newbie is that KB is not a pick up joint. We limited immediate access to profiles and PM, in part, for that reason.  Some horny newbie gets all worked up reading erotic fiction, and next thing you know, he’s sending dick pics to Miss Barbara. 

Not saying it’s never happened, but it hasn’t happened in the modern era. Not that plenty haven’t tried.

And MissBarbara hastens to add that even with the 5-post minimum in place, she still sees dick pics and other similar come-ons from men in her inbox.

(Okay, I think CJ must have subliminally rubbed off on me, since I'm talking in the third person.)

Granted, one of the pics was very impressive, and if I went for that sort of thing, I might have been tempted. But I don't go for that sort of thing (and neither do the majority of straight women).

Besides, it's about a 97% probability that the pic was not that of the member's member...
