Cable channels like Showtime have resumed airing soft core porn in the wee hours.  While I’m sure that programming has been on recently and continuously, I haven’t seen this much of it in decades; multiple movies on multiple channels.

While they probably are really fucking, you can’t really see any penetration, so I finally turned on CNN to get depressed at the news.  I mean if I want to see penetration, I know whose posts to check.

Me too. Probably the reason there is no "Sleep Like A Baby Club" thread. There would be nothing written in it because we are all asleep. 💤💤💤

1:30 in the a.m. and I'm wide awake and wired. So excited about my little get away, also a little intimidated about driving in Milwaukee. Not a big city person, and I hate traffic.

Wait...Milwaukee a big city?  ;D ;D  You will be fine. A little tired maybe. Their downtown is very nice since they modernized it, if that is where you will be staying.

More Wauwatosa area. Not too far from Froedert Hospital. To me it is a big city. I've been to Chicago once, and did not care for it. I was with my dad and he was driving, and I was still nervous.

I can see someone being nervous never having driven in a large city before. I thought I could handle big city driving until I drove in Los Angeles. Chicago has four lanes going in each direction. L.A. has six or eight lanes going in each direction on some of their freeways.

I'm used to the traffic.  Even in LA, yes it was on a larger scale, but it didn't faze me.

The thing that freaked me out in LA was motorcycles zooming between lanes when we're creeping along at 5-15 mph.  These guys were going 55 on their two wheelers.  CRAZY.  Then, I find out it's perfectly legal.  The tour guide told us lawmakers okayed it to help keep emissions down. Seems a idle bike produces more than a moving one.

The other thing was those signs warning of pedestrians.  At first I was thinking...do people like to play Frogger?  Then it hit me, it was for immigrants crossing the border illegally. Seriously, they had to show the child being dragged airborne almost airborne.

I have found, as I am sure most have, that as you become more familiar with an area, the easier it is to drive. I live in a city of approximately 1 million with nothing that could be considered true freeways. We have an 80 km ring road and a couple of cross city arteries but nothing on the scale of SoCal. Went to San Diego a couple of years ago after having been away for 33 years. Really big change in the size of the freeways since I had lived there. Took about 15 minutes to get back into the swing of freeway driving. Rule number one -- being tentative in acting on your decisions is dangerous.

That is all.

WTF!  Woke a 12:30 this morning. Tossed and turned until about 2 AM. Neville, my male cat had enough and left the bed a little before me.

Lucky for me I don't have much to do today. Going in for some same day surgery. I'm assured of at least an hour and a half of sleep under anesthesia.

Bummer is, I'm not allowed to eat and can only have water and a little black coffee up until 7 AM.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

Thought after all my body was put through yesterday with my surgery, I be able to sleep good.

I did drop off soon as I hit the pillow, but 1:30 I was awake. Tried to fall back to sleep for half an hour, but soon realized that wasn't going to happen.

Both cats are looking at me like WTF!

Your waking of the cats is revenge towards all cats for the fact that our cat just loves to jump off the bed at 5 AM, get a bite to eat, then come back up stairs and start meowing looking for permission to come back on the bed. It would be nice if she would just be quiet and jump back up.

That is all.

I feel like death. The last time I looked at the watch was 5:30 am. I've had enough coffee to kill a horse, and I can feel my synapses firing slightly.

In bed at 10:30 last night.   Awake at 3:30.  Laid there until I got up at 4:45.
Decided to leave work early when I fell asleep at my desk.  Woke up with drool coming down my chin.  If a picture surfaces, they're fired.
