So if a NFL player gets in trouble for doing drugs they get a 6 game suspension, but if you sexually harass more than 24 women you get an 11 game suspension...
I dont know about any of you, but sexual harrassment in my workplace is an immediate termination. No excuses, no second chances, you sexually harass anybody you're done.
But they are making sure he gets back playing in time to play against his old team...
be better NFL.
And fuck you Deshaun Watson you piece of shit 🖕🖕🖕
Sexual Harassment here at work is handled a bit differently.
If it is a woman doing is, she gets called out and sent to HR's "Re-education class."
If it is a man, its based on the degree of emotional damage done. if its a cat call, re-education, if its physical contact, its termination. same if its a woman doing it. But the biggest problem is, the horrible preconceived notion that men welcome all forms of physical contact of the sexual nature from women, we don't.
An example that actually happened this morning:
Rudy. Great guy, works in Accounts on the second floor. I had to help mediate with HR since the big shots are on their vacations.
Rudy is terribly shy, and asexual. He has told everyone about it, because he did not want any hard feelings. So we have Judith, who is the floor's mail clerk. She took a liking to Rudy, and became a bit aggressive in her pursuit. Finally she cornered him, while he was getting supplies, and her knee "Brushed" his crotch. No one questioned whether it happened, or if it was an accident. She put him in that position knowing there would be physical contact. He rebuffed her, and HR came down on her. But her friend said he should be grateful to be touched like that. That friend got a two week unpaid vacation. God Empress of HR, who sees through bullshit, and does not subscribe to any social justice conventions, flat out terminated her on the spot. Other ladies in HR protested using the "he's a man, they like it." argument. She made them look at Rudy, who was practically dying of shame and embarrassment, and asked "Does he look like he was having fun?" and told them that not all men want to be touched by women. She also cited Cristoff, who is my work wife best friend, who is as he calls it "Flagrantly Homosexual." "Does he want to be touched like that by women? or if we want equality, should we let the men touch you like that and see if you like it?" HR Goddess said. This is why I fear HR. I was dismissed back to work an hour ago. This all happening an hour after I clocked in.
