I’m a gun owner that’s taken a few NRA classes on gun safety, and think that’s excellent work they do in that area.  But I believe their extreme political views and irrational approach to gun laws make them dangerous activists/lobbyists for the country.

This is a perfect example, for Texas.  Honestly, a bull in a crowded stadium is right about the same level of danger as a semi-automatic where they sell Alcohol.  Think about that, guns are illegal where they sell alcohol, because people lose their self control, when they drink.

How do you control a 1 ton bull?  You want to see the Gif, again?  PETA had to see a Bulldog FFS, get attacked by a 1 ton bull to get their panties in a twist.  The Media had to see 2 Cameramen get nearly Trampled to trigger a circus.  UT has to have the Player's lives threatened, FOOTBALL players to realize the fucking obvious truth:

A 1 ton Bull in a crowded stadium is a danger, to everyone around it.  He doesn't belong there.  There's people, in that crowd, waving red (Burnt Orange, but cattle are colorblind) towels, and blankets for fuck's sake, and there's a Bond Villain in the oval office.

I can't believe I have to point out the obvious here.  I can't believe that America is that stupid, I can only kinda understand Texas being that blind to the danger, but even Austin should be different.

Absolutely PETA has a point.  I think the point I’m trying to make is people hear ‘PETA’ and it elicits eye rolls followed by the people ignoring them (even outside of Texas).  If they want to be relevant, then be reasonable.

I love PETA, on occasions:

Bevo is a steer.  Notable difference from a bull.

What's the practical difference?  He doesn't have the Balls to trample someone?

News Flash:  He has the horns to gore them, then trample them under foot.  "Well, actually..."  The practical difference is Moot.

I wonder how PETA would feel if after every game the STEER was butchered and grilled?

Or smoked.

I had some mouthwatering smoked brisket the other day, and I'm still thinking about it...

Thank you, Bevo, for your sacrifice!

Honestly, all the best places for BBQ in Waco are black folk.  INSY, but if you're in the area, and you want to buy good smoked Brisket, your best bet is to find some place where no white people work there.

(With the caveat that's BBQ Places.  Your best bet is always a backyard smoker.)  Viteks used to be good.  I have no idea what happened there.

Only in Texas do we have a mascot that can Trample other team's mascots.  I guess we're fortunate that nobody has the State Rhinos.

Hook 'em Horns!

Texas vs Colorado. Live longhorn vs live buffalo. Wonder what the line would be on that matchup.

Well, I live over by the Rodeo Grounds, so I don't really have to imagine.

As of July 11, 2024, Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine ranked the Aledo Bearcats football team number one in the state. The Bearcats are a 5A Division I team from Aledo, Texas, and have won 12 state championships, the most of any high school in Texas.

My old high school.
