OOh...... Man City is in deep shit. Over a hundred financial issues dating back to 2010.

I’m going to reserve judgment - this sounds similar to the UEFA charges on FFP where all charges were dropped, etc. I hope this will result in dropped charges because if not, we are definitely in deep shit otherwise.

Probably why some of the big clubs are eager to have their own super league, because financial irregularities wouldn't be a big deal there  :emot_laughing:

Also, I'm praying the Saudis don't try to engage in creative accounting with Newcastle

Thanks, Rick - you damn well know the score of our match!! City is in transition, we have some older players with injury frequency and a transition back to a system with a true striker. We are slow, hold the ball more, less fluidity than when we played a false nine. It’s going to take some time to overhaul the team/roster and the system. Some players seem to struggle with the tactics change and others can’t seem to stay healthy long enough for any consistency. Very frustrating as a fan, I suppose it’s not realistic for City to win the PL Title ever year, right?

Well, with the current investigation that's been underway for 4 years, the championship title will probably a doddle for City next year  ;D

I'm surprised to not have heard from MissB on the Spurs win.  Maybe she is still orgasming.  ;D

Will have to wait and see how it all shakes out. Too early to tell, in my opinion.

Perhaps, but Pep threatened to walk if they lied with the previous allegations, and it seems they did. At least Sam Allardyce will be available to take over  ;D

Yes, Pep has always said that if the allegations are true, he will resign. It wasn’t true with the UEFA allegations so I’ll wait and see on this one. I think it’s a lot of media hype to generate eyeballs on websites. That seems a lot more likely to me. I’m not an accountant, a lawyer or an expert on PL or UEFA rules, and the media has gotten this wrong before,

;D ;D  Our local newspaper had the day of the United - Leeds match wrong. Instead of Monday, they will play on Wednedsay.

Close one, Rick! I’ll bet Leeds are kicking themselves, giving up a two goal lead on the road!

Figures United would blow a sure win at home against Leeds. Least they were able to salvage a point. Like City, it seems United is trying to figure out a lineup involving veterans and newly acquired players.

Yep, we are #2 and you are #3 and we’re still complaining about our clubs and their recent performances! I don’t know if City are ever going to get back on track or not this season, we have more distractions than ever so who knows?!
