I've been an author on ASSTR since the beginning (yes, really -- 20 years now), but for various reasons, I've decided it's time for me to pack it in. I FTP'ed into my directory there and deleted all my files, but I can't delete the top-level directory. And in trying to contact the ASSTR admins, the form on their HELP page won't submit. They don't list an email address for direct contact, either. Does anyone know of such an address? Or of a way to remove my presence *completely* from the ASSTR site?

You might not be able to delete it, but you should be able to rename it.  Best I can think of.

Hey! That worked! The empty directory is still there, but anyone searching for my user name will find nothing. Close enough to not actually being there. I never would have thought of that -- thanks very much, Julie.

I'm happy that my suggestion worked out for you.   I'm not FTP proficient any longer.   It's been 10 years since I really knew my way around.   Just a set it and forget it girl now.
