He had the sweetest girlfriend, Emily Yeun, they had been dating for 12 years or so.  I actually met her twice when they lived in a rental in our town one year, and again at the Detroit Auto Show the next year.  Then he met the skankbag on an SI photo shoot or something.  Wasn't long before Emily moved out.

He and I would have had such beautiful children.  A boy, Justin junior, and a girl, Katherine.

It’s a mystery Jules.

Indeed. I don't get it, either.

P.S. I just looked it up, and Justin Verlander made $33 million this past season.

For 2020, his stats are:  Won 1 game.  ERA:  3.00   K - 7

Yes, and with his surgery, he will likely have a rough 2021.    We had more press coverage on his surgery than we did on Covid shutting down the state.  And he's not even on the Detroit team anymore.  He and Steve Yzerman are heroes here and they likely always will be.

His manager, Dusty Baker, has not admitted yet that Verlander needs the surgery. Baker is saying that Verlander's forearm muscles are hurting but others in the know says that means his elbow needs surgery. He has pitched over 6,000 innings in the majors with that arm.

Nice showing by the Lions conference.  Nobody really wants it, it seems.

Dan was gone this weekend without a television.  So guess what we did today..... Watched a replay of the UM vs MSU game.   And now, watching a replay of the Lions game.   Such a fun day over here I tell ya.

I was happy that the Vikings upset the Packers yesterday. The Bears rallied to go into overtime with the Saints but ended up losing. And the Lions? They lost again.  ;D

A usual week in our division - Packers and Minnesota each won and the Bears and Lions each lost. Another three hours on a Sunday wasted... ;D ;D

You sure you still want to bet?  Think you have a couple of weeks to decide.  FYI, I already have the image if you lose... sorry, WHEN you lose :emot_kiss:

In related news, the Dallas Cowboys have now filed lawsuits in 7 jurisdictions to stop the counting of points.

Dallas played much better Sunday with their fourth string quarterback.  Had the game until the last few minutes.

Shiela - seeing that Da Bears still have to play the Packers and the Vikings twice it doesn't look good but a bet is a bet. No points. Just a win. :emot_kiss:

Garrett Gilbert was Colt McCoy’s backup at UT.  He’s a talented QB who has had the misfortune of playing in other’s shadow.  He looked really good against the Steelers and almost pulled an upset.

My apologies to Watcher and other Chicago football fans. I guess our Minnesota Vikings just weren't good visitors. Usually they just roll over and let the Bears walk all over them. Beating the Bears 19 - 13, was just poor taste. After all it is their house.

OK, not a football fan, but still they are a hometown team so I gotta gloat a bit. :D

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

And the Lions are making their move.   I think I watched three plays.   Dan was downstairs, us 4 girls had a movie watching windy Sunday with popcorn, grilled cheeses, and lots of blankets and pillows

No apologies needed. Chicago sports fans are,  by nature, masochists.  Won't be hard to beat the Bears when they rank next to last in offensive production.

And I hear their quarterback got hurt too.  Wonder how much of a difference that would make.
