I have a question about a particular play, but my memory is now a bit hazy because of the time delay while KB was suspended.  It occurred just after the start of the third quarter I think (but may have been at the start of the second).

The Chiefs had just scored and it was the Eagles' first play.  The QB threw the ball wide and it was caught by a receiver who was immediately hit by a Chiefs' player, the ball went to ground, was picked up by an Eagles player who ran in for a touchdown.  The referee ruled it as an incomplete pass, all the commentators thought it was a fumble. It seemed to me that the receiver had complete control of the ball before he was hit.  Why was it ruled incomplete?

If the receiver did not have full possession of the ball before his knee or elbow touched the ground, the refs will call it an incomplete pass.

Aaron Rodgers signs three-year contract extension with Packers, earning $150.8M.

Wonder how dad feels about this?

I have no idea. I'm sure I'll hear something by the end of the day.

Me, yelling into the other room to tell Dan...  "Aaron Rodgers resigned for three years with Green..."

"FUCK ME!"

A bit dramatic.   Yeah, he's not happy.

Right after replying, I sent a group text to my brother and Dad about it. Jason said he's heard nothing about a contract being signed, and he has all those apps and news updates. My dad probably hasn't even seen the texts yet.

My brother is telling me Rodgers hasn't signed with anybody yet. Jet's deal may fall through, and the Titans are contacting the packers to talk about Rodgers now??

I have zero clue what's what

After Packers signed her husband, safety Jonathan Owens, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles asked for Green Bay must-do's. Locals wasted no time.

I would add The Woods golf course and clubhouse for their broated chicken, and everything in the list at Mackinaws, and for dessert, a Kringle from Uncle Mike's Bake shop.😋

Lions fans want sex.

Some Lions fans had halftime sex after the prolific  2nd quarter.
Ya woulda thought he wanted post game sex too.  I would not have thrown an encroachment flag.  His loss.
Go Lions!

They have really fucked up NFL watching. Because they’ve thrown so many games to so many different platforms, you basically need 10 or 12 subscriptions to see everything, and it ends up being a couple hundred bucks a month. I have stopped insisting on seeing my team. I’ll watch whatever team is available. But it takes some of the fun out of it. Because I don’t care who wins anymore.

My son has some sort of black market hacking app, that casts virtually any game or movie onto the television. But he’s very secretive and proprietary about it. If he’s not here, I can forget about it.

My brother is really into the fantasy football stuff, and he has an NFL app on his phone where he can watch every and any game he wants. He told my dad it costs like $15 month, but I dont think he can cast it to a tv, so he basically has to watch it all on his phone or whatever, so he cant cast it to a large group of people, because you know, the NFL is struggling financially.

There are people that live in northern Wisconsin near the Michigan boarder that cant watch some of the packer games on regular tv because they get service from Michigan, so they have to get cable or something that will let them see packer games when it should be public broadcasting, but since it's a michigan service, they miss out.

Yeah my kid got this app out of Russia. And you can get bootleg movies while they are still in the theater, all of the NFL and college games, and just about anything else. He’ll ask me “is there anything you want to see?“ And I no sooner tell him than he has it up on the 65 inch flatscreen. Size matters.

I have the NFL app, but I hate watching football on my phone. Reminds me of being a kid again, with dad up on the roof attaching foil to the antenna. We’ve come a long way.

GB up by 4, KC up by one, Arizona up by one.  Close games.
