The TP was one thing.
Disney closing for 2 weeks, a lil crazy
Tommy leaving?  I know the world is ending.

My dad just texted me, looks like hes going to be a Buccaneer.

Hope the Bucs have a good offensive line to protect Brady or he will be feeling the pain since he is not fleet of foot.

Which team will fall under investigation for cheating more?  Patriots or Bucs?

Cowboys are sucking, as usual.

So, I need some help.   I made a bet with Rick on the Lions-Bears game and I won.  I took Lions +4.5

I get to change his signature for a week.

I have something in mind, but am open to suggestions also.  Feel free to PM me any you might have.

Huh?  I took the Bears to win by 3 and they won by 4. You had Detroit to win by 4 1/2. How did you win?    ;D

I'm confused.

I'm thinking that even though you picked the winner, you lost by the points...  something to do with the spread.  I don't gamble on sports so I'm not 100% sure.

I'm confused.

I'm thinking that even though you picked the winner, you lost by the points...  something to do with the spread.  I don't gamble on sports so I'm not 100% sure.

From sports bets dot com:  What is a Point Spread or Side Bet?

A point spread is used in sports betting to even the odds between two unevenly matched teams. Each team is given a point total by the oddsmaker that can either be added or subtracted to the final score, thus factoring into if the bet was won or lost.

Example:

The point spread for Super Bowl XLI was:

Colts –7

Bears +7

The (-) before the 7 indicates that the Colts were the point spread favorites. The (+) indicates that the Bears were the point spread underdogs.

If one were to bet on the Colts, the Colts would have to win by a total of 8 points for the bettor to win. If one were to bet on the Bears, the Bears would have to win outright or lose by no less than 6 points for the bettor to win. A 7 point victory by the Colts would equal a push or tie.

—————

So if Julie took the Lions +4 1/2, Rick’s Bears would have to win by 5 points or more to win.  Julie’s Lions would win the bet if the Lions won, of if the Lions lost by less than 4 1/2.  Which they did.

Never gamble with the Sheriff, Rick.

Never gamble with the Sheriff, Rick.

The Sheriff was on her deck, lounging topless when we made the bets. You can say I was a bit distracted.. 8)

New season, but same old story.  Detroit walks all over green bay defense, at least until the offense reminds them of there place in the conference  :emot_laughing:

Quit gripping, they won.  My team is losing 0-14, and they don’t even have a fucking name any more.

Yep, we’re the ‘Prince’ of football.

NFL fines five head coaches $100K each for not wearing masks on sidelines

Quote
CINCINNATI — The NFL fined three head coaches for not wearing masks on the sidelines during the game in Week 2.

Denver's Vic Fangio, Seattle's Pete Carroll and San Francisco's Kyle Shanahan were each fined $100,000 for not wearing masks on the sidelines according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Their teams were fined another $250,000 according to the report.

The NFL also fined Saints head coach Sean Payton and Raiders head coach Jon Gruden on Tuesday following Las Vegas' win over New Orleans on Monday Night Football. Both organizations were also fined $250,000.

This is clearly a rule that the league is going to enforce. They issued $1.75 million in fines for mask violations in Week 2.

The league sent a memo to every team after Week 1 reminding coaches that they needed to wear a face covering — either a mask or a shield — while on the sidelines.

"I think you have to consider everything. It’s your livelihood," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said last week. "We live off the communication in a critical moment and you want to be able to speak clearly. We gotta continue to work on the best way to make that happen."

Taylor wore a neck sleeve face covering on Thursday against the Browns. Other coaches like Kansas City's Andy Reid have opted to wear a face shield.

Every NFL coach is in the same COVID-19 protocol as the players, but the league wants every coach to wear a face covering for the duration of the game.

Taylor and the other 31 head coaches need to be diligent. If they don't abide by the rules, then they're going to have to pay a hefty price.
[/b]

I hope the money is going to COVID-19 relief.
