I have no problem with our new no under 13 stories rule. I can live with that, I won't post any new under 13 stories, not a problem. While we're at it let's delete all rape stories on here.
My only problem is Lois has always known my limitations that I can't save or move any of my posts. So I messaged her a month ago about finding help to move my own under 13 stories. But I see at least three of my stories have already been deleted, stories I'll never see again, stories I spent at least a week each on, maybe two weeks. That's a lot of effort just to have them vanish.
Just a side point, I write on here because I love to write and for the past nine years I finally had a place to share my stories. It's not the sex scenes that are most important to me, Hell, about 90% of each story I write is non-sexual. But whoever went and deleted my stories probably didn't bother to see what that it wasn't all sex [not that that matters, I'm just saying].
Another side point, are Mods allowed to delete other Mods posts? Grm did make me Mod of my Blog, and he knew exactly what kind of stories I put into it.

GeminiGuy is without question a major pillar on this site. I think he deserves the best that can be done for him. blind

If you can't save them on your home computer, create a google account - it's really easy to create a document there and then copy/paste your stories into it. You can do that from any internet device, even your phone, without leaving incriminating evidence on the device.

But, regarding the UA stories, most are not permanently gone, and MintJulie is doing a lot of the donkey work there. Drop her a PM, and ask her to copy & paste the stories into a PM.

Oh, and yes, Mods can delete other Mod posts, as long as they are in a board that they have been given Mod rights over.

No stories have been completely deleted.   We can get them back to you upon request.

If an author discovers their stories are no longer visible on the forum, PM me the title and I will move it to an area of the board where they can view it.   They can revise it to bring it within the rules, or copy it for themselves.

As for your other comments.   The decision has been made and we have given everyone the opportunity to copy (or revise) their stories before we removed them.
If you feel one was removed that shouldn't have been.  Let me know the title & author and I'll look at it.

whoever went and deleted my stories probably didn't bother to see that it wasn't all sex [not that that matters, I'm just saying]

That would be me.  Did I read every line of every story that I removed?  No, I admit I did not.  I did some keyword searches, and if they came up, I read a bit of the surrounding paragraph and made my decision as to whether I should remove it or not.

...are Mods allowed to delete other Mods posts?

Yes, moderators do moderate other mods.  We all police each other as well as general membership.

Again, we are not deleting the stories.   We are removing them from the public/member viewing.  We will also keep them for at least a year (maybe even longer) for those authors that haven't checked-in to KB for some time.  The last thing we would like to have happen is delete them, only to find out the author didn't have a copy.

As for retaining a copy of your work if you don't have one.   That is up to you.   It's similar to photo sites that have closed up shop or have discontinued allowing pornographic images.   It's your responsibility to keep a backup of your work.

GG, I offered to give you an iPad shortly after I joined KB.  You turned down that offer.  Honestly, you need to keep up with technology.   See if you can have someone copy your material for you and have the stories PM'd to you.   I would love to help you, but my plate is a little full right now.

What Jules said.

And hey, you've been writting using your cell phone for over 10 years now.  It's time to get a computer or upgrade your phone.  The new phones allow you to copy/paste or whatever.

And Bob Guccione has been dead since 2010 also...

I just bought my daddy a $180 chrome book for Fathers day.  Nice and simple.   Chrome browser.  Gmail within the browser.  And as many f'n versions of solitaire games from the ChromeStore has he wants.  I honestly didn't know they had all the ones that they do.

I play MobilityWare Pyramid, Solitaire, Spider, and FreeCell every fucking day.  Day is off to a bad start if I don’t win all my daily challenges, and obtain my goals.  LOL.
