Seems no matter how many times NC voters have to state their preference, and no matter how much dark money Democrats throw at them, and no matter how much the Media hates the GOP and GOP voters, the people know what they want, and vote their best interests.

Congratulations, NC 3, Greg Murphy - Winner

Congratulations, NC 9, Dan Bishop - Winner
--------------------------
Congratulations, U.S.A. holding strong for GOP, and Trump!

Trump 2020 - USA, USA, USA!

NC state politics is a clusterfuck.  It would take forever to describe how bad that legislature is to anyone.  Worse than Texas.

Of the 10 Counties, 5 in each District, Dems took 2, GOP 8.

In District 9, vote was close, as it was originally, and GOP won again.

In District 3, all 5 counties went with GOP, as they have in the past.

Good that President Trump scheduled the Support Rally there last night.

IDK the voter count for today, compared to the original election for Dist 9,
have not seen the exact numbers yet, only win percentages.

Yeah, but conservative dominance has been the rule there since it was one of the 13 original colonies.  It's literally one of the red stripes on the flag.  This isn't news, in fact it's the exact opposite of news:  North Kerrlina being North Kerrlina.  When you win in Colorado, that will be news.

So if it was a GOP stronghold, why did they have to cheat in the first place?  It was GOP cheating that led to a new election.

It's the mindset.  It's a measure of Control, they don't cheat because they have to.  They can get away with it, and they have for decades.  So, I'm just assuming force of habit?  They're also afraid of teh trannies getting in bathrooms, teh darkies not standing for the National Anthem, teh illegals taking all our jobs, and teh socialists making us Russia (Or Israel, North Korea...  Basically any Communist country with dictators that are way too close to our President.)

So, there might be some panic involved too.  IDK, I'm not a knee-jerk conservative who's overly concerned about GOP victories that don't affect me.

NC 3 has long been a GOP held District, and remains so, evidenced by the vote yesterday. The House Member who previously held that seat died, thus the election.

NC 9 election was negated, over an aide's challenged activities, thus the Election yesterday. GOP 'won' in the 'negated' election, and won again yesterday. Another close election yesterday, with 2 of the 5 Counties vote
going to the Democrat, and three going to the Republican, who was elected.

Media set up NC 9 election yesterday as a Trump 2020 'forecast', actively pulled for the Democrat to win, and lead the way to a Democrat 2020 Landslide.

Reality intervened. Good to see.

Reality intervened.

:emot_laughing:  Again, what do you know about the Political Reality of North Carolina?  Is it a slow news week?  Because I grew up there, in Raleigh.  They have laws about me, specifically.  I went to school with some of those lawmaker's kids, and the Bathroom in question was upstairs in Jesse O. Sanderson.

The reality is that nothing changed, and nothing will change, just as long as the hegemony does everything in their Power (Lie, Cheat, and Steal elections) say so.

Also, it's a State, not a District.

WTF Psi.
What bathroom are you speaking about? Please do not answer.

The US House is made of Districts within a State. Each w/1 Rep elected.

Laws about you? Who cares. You are TX problem now.

Please stop making replies filled with rambling nonsense. Please take your meds...

It must just be a habit.  When the GOP welcomed the old dixie-crats into their party they sure got a lot of rif-raff and anti-civil-rights idiots.

Are any of the supposed "dixie-crats" even ALIVE today, let alone politically active? These were Ku Klux Klan leaders, thought not all of them, just some of the elected ones in local areas and others who supported Richard Nixon over the weak Democrat who lost by a near total landslide that year?

How long ago was that? North Carolina has been a 'Red State' for a long time, not always, not every County, but generally votes with the rational and more Conservative of the offered candidates. The Democrat was burdened by the far left drift, far left BENT of the 20 something Dem Presidential Candidates, and wished to vote their OWN financial and social interests, not the whack-o fringe interests promised if they elected 'another' Democrat to Congress this time.

IMHO.

And you know this, how... because some Democrat said so...

Hope you feel better now about losing elections, since you have
something to blame it all on...

No chance finding more rational, normal people to run for office,
instead of lefty zealots, would change the results.

Good to have you thinking and supporting your party, and posting.

Certainly a far more believable source than any you use Grand Wizard.  Go watch some more Fox.

Southern white evangelicals vote GOP, namely because because the GOP legitimizes their bigotry.  That was true for the Dixiecrats then and is still true.

Who among Democrat Candidates is hoping for the Evangelical Vote?
What platform, and campaign promises are there for anyone Religious?

None.  You forget the start of the Bill of Rights again.  The GoP is the party of Religious Rule, not the Progressives.  That's why the Democrats aren't pandering to Evangelicals:  They understand the Seperation of Church, and State.  Even those that have Christian beliefs trust in God to work His will, without depending on mere Mortals to intervene on His behalf.

Only the Republicans have the Hubris to Speak for God.  If God wishes to Speak, He will.  There's nothing we could do about it, if we wanted to.

The white evangelical vote?  They haven’t supported a Democrat since the last segregationist Dixiecrat, maybe the last one was George Wallace.

And plenty of religious people have the intelligence, tolerance and decency to vote for Democrats.

+1

And they think they have the monopoly on morality and patriotism, by having absurd twisted views based on bigotry for both.

Also, as far as demographics to swing the vote?  Millennials>Evangeilical Christians.  The largest generation in Human History vs a splinter faction of spiritual delusionals?

The closest thing to what you're looking for is Marrianne Williamson, and she's getting her bony ass kicked.  The smart bet is on the people with a vested interest in our Future.  The generation of our future.

Not the bed-times stories of the hegemony.
