I see the neighbors passing out full sized Milky Ways... it sure wasn’t that way when I was a kid.  We trick or treated, in the snow, uphill both ways.

These were my least two favorites as a kid.  Peanut Butter Kisses and Mary Janes.  What were yours?

The *worst* Chopped basket ingredient ever.

I don’t consider candy circus peanuts to be Halloween candy, but I do throw up a little, any time I think about them.

I hand out full size candy bars.  Smas Club has nice varietyy boxes with 20 or so big bars.

When i was a kid i loved nestle crunch bars.  That and Snickers

goof

I misread the topic   the worst candy i got in my halloween bag was an apple.  and toothbrushes.  We lived in a neighborhood of dentists.

Actuall candy.     junior mints.   But I love them now.   3 muskaters   Butterfingers   Neeco wafers    Bit Oh Honey

Good or worse...you decide.  A local talk show host always talks about his Halloween moment when a kid around this time of year.

He and a friend were hitting up an apartment bldg.  One guy came to the door, not expecting trick or treaters. He'd had a few and mumbled something, walked off and came back with a fifth of booze and dropped in their bag. "Dad" took over that "treat" when he got home. :emot_laughing:

I like candy corn (And also the pumpkins which are pretty much the same thing.)

Mrs Rutherford down the street used to give out sugar free Hershey's minis.  The special darks are still okay, but the other ones never tasted quite right.

Sugar free candy?

I’d rather have Jules’ apple larded with the ‘urban mythical’ razor blades.

Worst stuff handed out at Halloween. I know a dental hygienist who would hand out tooth brushes while her boyfriend was putting candy in the kids’ bags.

The candy I abhorred when I was a kid were the molasses kisses. Still not fond of those things.

That is all.

Kerr’s Molasses Kisses.  Pretty god damned awful.

I had a love/hate relationship with Brach’s Jelly Nougats.  Love for the first twenty or thirty pieces, hate by the time I got to the bottom of the bag!

As a kid I loved milk chocolate and anything with peanuts and hated dark chocolate and coconut, so while I loved getting candy bars, I hated getting Mounds.  Couldn’t trade those things either.

It would be, ‘Don’t you have any Reese’s or Snickers?’

I remember my mommy saying "why can't they give out healthy treats on Halloween?"

Sugar free candy?

She was diabetic, and cheap.  Those were the cheapest bags of candy she could get.  Fortunately, she only gave out one per T&Ter, but not many went to her house anyway.
