With the Election of Donald J. Trump on this day, Three Years ago, came the celebration of the potential for Economic Growth, and a jolt to the U.S. Economy, the beginning of what we have experienced since.

Just as the Economy tanked with the election results in November 2008, heralding the Obama recession, staggering job losses, closing of American businesses, takeover of Auto manufacturing by Unions, with the U.S. Taxpayer subsidizing it all, and the malaise for 8 years hence,
the signal of a Business Friendly, excess Regulation unfriendly, America friendly Administration to come, helped kick off a healthy for all market.

What a great Anniversary for all to celebrate.

  WINNING!

Really?  That’s what the loons on the right tell themselves?  The 2008 collapse was Obama’s fault before he even got in office?  Everyone and every financial institution abruptly became so distraught that a black man was elected president, it suddenly imploded all at once in November of 2008?  It had nothing to do with 8 years of failed Republican ideology on the economy destroying the Bill Clinton prosperity?  There were no signs of a downturn at all until after the election?

Holy shit on cracker Batman!

It’s like logic is made of silly string that can be sprayed anywhere you want?

Slow news day?  It's not like your President stands accused of colluding with a foreign power to interfere with our elections, again.  I know, let's celebrate the Glass Anniversary of his last victory!

All worth noting, I agree.
Three losers, with poor attitudes.
Lack of determination and hard work is what they have in common.

The U.S. debt is the largest in years and keeps growing. Trillions! Even the GOP, the party of conservative fiscal policies, seem not to care anymore.  The economy is not as strong as people believe.

The funny thing about international economics is that it really depends what metric you chose, to prove that it's "Strong," or whatever.  It's really easy to borrow $Trillions, then balance the federal budget.  It looks good when you point to that for the voters, but the bill always comes due, with interest.

At some point, we have to stop saddling the next generation with our fuckups.  Millennials are already incapable of paying off their debts, and buying their own homes, working 2 jobs (If they can get them, with no experience, and all the competition) at a Minimum Wage that's been fixed since before they're born, after the housing market, and the tech markets were exploited to back-to-back crashes.

But I'm sure it's a great comfort that the economy is "strong."  Now, if they could just have families, and provide for them, the way the Boomers claim to have, back in their day.

Nothing about the 1 year anniversary of the House being taken back in a record setting mid-term, huh?

That's right, Democracy is just like the Olympics.  You only have to tune in every 4 years, (Unless someone's caught cheating) and then only for the Race you care about.
