Minnesota is taking gradual steps to reopen. Monday, retail stores were allowed to open. Restriction was that only 50 percent of capacity allowed in the store. Social distancing must be observed. Employees should be masked and gloved.
June 1st is the day restaurants may reopen, sorta. Only outside dining will be allowed, no inside seating. Reservations must be made and only parties of 4 seated. A family of six will be allowed to sit together. As expected the restaurants with little or no outdoor seating are, well, taking it in the seat.
C-19 cases, including deaths continue to rise with most deaths occurring in nursing homes. An move by the state, makes me wonder if we're not being told everything. Minnesota just purchased an abandoned warehouse of a produce company for cold storage. Cost a little over 5 million dollars with another million to do some upgrades. It's to be used for storage of bodies and funerals are running behind due to restrictions. It can hold over 5000 bodies. Not a good sign of things to come as restrictions ease.
