Long time lurker first time poster.  I love reading the great writers on this board.  I never thought about trying to write anything myself until recently.  I have no idea if it's any good but, I figured it has been fun to write so far so why not share it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.  I hope to be around for a while.  I like this new creative outlet.  Hopefully my style improves over time and I can actually write something worthy :):)

Now I can speak of this from personal experience. It was unexpected. She took me forcefully, ruthlessly, and without warning. It was painful, but at the same time, I felt like the hand of a goddess had come down from on high and touched my heart.

And then ripped it out.

It got better. :-)

You see, this is the fundamental problem of a serial Boo-er. First, it's a thrill just to Boo the criminals as it was intended. But that stops being enough. The Boos became forgettable, just a part of the job. Then she had to move on to Boo-ing people for no reason, but these were veterans of the site who laughed it off or hardly noticed she had slapped a Boo on them for no reason. But it didn't take long for even this to lose its luster as the Boos piled up so that she couldn't even remember who she had or hadn't Boo-ed. So now MJ roams the table of registrants, looking for newer members who are active but have received zero Boos. At first she confined herself to members with over 25 Woos. But then the Woos got younger and younger. She got me at 23. Where will her strange addiction end? When eventually Booing new members on their very first post even loses its luster, what will she do to satisfy her sick need to slap an ever more thrilling Boo?
