As if winter wasn't boring enough, we're just coming out of a pandemic winter.  Our Minnesota Dept. of Transportation decided to run a contest to name some of the big orange snowplows that keep the state's highways clear during storms.

The winner is...(drum roll) Plowy McPlowFace with over 65 thousand votes.

Some of the others include:
Ope, Just Gonna Plow Right Past Ya (29,457), Duck Duck Orange Truck (25,824), Plow Bunyan (22,016), Snowbi Wan Kenobi (21,568), F. Salt Fitzgerald (20,699), Darth Blader (20,344) and in a nod to Prince, the Truck Formerly Known As Plow (17,549). Totals for the 50 finalists are available on the MnDOT website.

:facepalm: They aren't being any kind of original anymore now, are they? It's like an over-recited joke. There are people who put a fuckload of effort into their name, and the votes for those came nowhere near this mediocre attempt (by the looks of it, possibly collectively!).

Wh...why do we let them do this shit anymore?
