Finally moving ahead with cancer treatment. Been waiting for several weeks now to have a bone biopsy done on the bone cancer on my pelvis. Delay was so many doctors taking time off for the holidays. Biopsy will show where cancer started, prostrate or bladder. That will determine what type of treatment the Oncologist will recommend. Also the Radiation Oncologist will be calling me next week.

So in a few hours they'll be sticking a huge needle in my ass and grab some of my pelvic bone. One good thing...there will be drugs.

Procedure went well. Area was numbed so I never felt anything. When the lidocaine wears off I'm sure I'll feel like I was kicked in the ass.

Will get results next week. Takes a few days to culture the bone sample. There was a pathologist there also to make sure there was a large enough sample.

Boner sample *giggles*

On a serious note, hopefully the results will be as favorable as possible :)

Well hopefully it isn't as bad as you think with the way your ass will feel. If it does start to hurt, I'm sure I could take some time to kick that cage around. Take you mind off your butt :emot_kiss:

Just a question, does the cage have a time lock?
After which’s completion, it’ll automatically open?
As just seeing that makes me feel uneasy.
No offence to you Mr. Msslave sir.

Looks like things are starting to move faster for me. Radiation Oncology has me coming in on Jan. 25th to start planning radiation treatment on the cancer in my pelvic area. It's caused occasional pain that goes all the way down my leg. Woke me up last night after only a couple hours sleep. Was up for two hours until pain eased enough to get back to sleep.

Friday I see the Oncologist who does Chemo therapy. Now that my bone biopsy last week has shown the cancer did start in the prostrate, he'll know what course of treatment to recommend.

Also have a meeting set with the Palliative Care people. They're the people who will help me manage pain and side effects of treatment and ease my final days.

Just so you're all clear on this. Treatment will not cure me. I'm stage 4 incurable. Cancer has spread to several places around my old body. Treatment may give me a couple more years.

Best news today was one of the counselors I talked with did some extensive string pulling. I now do not have any co-pays. Being able to afford any treatment was a major factor. It was costing me $50.00 each time I went to a specialty clinic. Prescription co-pays haven't been to bad, but no doubt there will be a lot more pills in my future.

What helps me most is the support I'm getting from friends, both here on KB, and in real life. Don't worry... I'll be on here perving as long as possible. ;D :emot_kiss:

I never met you, but reading and seeing you around KB, you remind me of my grandfather before he went. I want to say I appreciate the effort you are putting in, it gives me a bit of hope the positive energy you are giving off will never vanish. I call for all of us to start a donation fund for Msslave, for a full on, balls to the wall, week long bdsm session with a Domme. Just to say fuck it. You deserve better, and I pray you and yours will be okay.

That has always been my philosophy, though some cheeses are better than others, like  Wisconsin cheeses.  8) 8)

Had what was called a planning session with the radiation oncology people this morning. They want to zap the bone cancer in my right pelvis. The doctor was originally reluctant due to the area is close to my colon. Now he's willing to give it a shot.(pun intended)

After the discussion, I was walked to the CT scan room. Two techs ran me through the big donut shaped machine a few times
Once they got my inners mapped one of them gave me a few pokes with a pin, giving me a few tattoo marks.  Guess that's for aiming the "raygun" :D.

Dang, 76 years old and I've got my first tattoos. And all they are are tiny dots. Maybe later I can go to a tattoo parlor and let them "connect the dots".

So, Monday, the 31st I go in for first treatment. Still unsure if I'll be getting one big zap, or five smaller ones. Find out Monday. Once the radiation treatment is done I'll move on to Chemotherapy. That's when the fun really begins.

Don't they now have laser treatments that zap the tattoo pigments to make the particles small enough to be absorbed into the blood stream and eventually excreted?

Every 10 years, since I turned 30, I contemplated getting a tattoo. When I turned 60, I realized that I would never do it if I waited another 10 years. So I got two tattoos for my 60th birthday. No time like the present. Treat yourself well. You deserve it.
