My favourite starting word is ORATE, statistically PENIS is a good one.
Got one today when first two attempts of ORATE and PUNCH yielded no green or yellow letters, still got it in a total of four attempts though  :emot_clap:

This type of game has been around for many years, James Wardle just re-packaged it; although he is English he has caused furore on this side of the pond for one particular aspect of the game.  The clue to which is in my second sentence above  ;D

Mine looks weird too. Little while boxes like yours, and then the box with the x in the middle like I get when I dont have a particular emoji.
