There have been a lot of questions popping up about ASSTR and the associated archives, including KA. We have known for a while that ASSTR was about to disappear; it has been discussed for about a year now.

That said, it is not the end for the archive. The Wayback Machine has the full archive at the moment of it being taken down backed up, with changes over time.

In addition, many of the archives have been backed up on other sites. (Sadly, I cannot remember where they are; I have no doubt my fellow moderators will fill that part in for me later.)

Extinguishing the Flame is available on Amazon and supports Australian Bush fire relief.

HOWEVER ... the Wayback Machine has KA stories up to 2016 (don't know if that is all).

Kristen's Archive operated separately from KB. While some of us appear in both the Archive and on here, not everyone does.

Currently, we don't know who the archivist is, if anyone.

If asstr still allows registering a new account, someone, anyone here could make one to dump all the stories onto, just doing that print export on them and pasting them, or cleaning them up a bit first.

Well not anyone, it needs to be someone with access to the stories I suppose, I do not have that.

Also it is a lot of work to do that, so do not demand anyone to do it, I do not, ask very nicely and maybe it could happen.
