No worries. Unless it is the size of a banana and floats. LOL.

How's your hearing now?

I remember a guy who worked for our family business who was deaf. He communicated with gestures and various noises. I asked my dad about him once. He said he did have a hearing aid. That was back in the day when it was a box like a small radio you'd put in your shirt pocket with an ear piece running from your pocket to your ear.

He wore it to work right after getting it. They were busy plucking chickens when a woman next to him leaned over to the pocket holding the box that picked up sound. She yelled, " CAN YOU HEAR ME SAMPSON!!!"

That was the last time he wore his hearing aid to work. :D

I've been hearing fine.  I do have tinnitus though, which comes and goes.
Sometimes it will just bug the heck out of me.  Most of the time, I tune it out I've had it so long. But then other times I think about it, and it is with me for the rest of the day.  Like right now.

I’ve had tinnitus since fourth or fifth grade, 24/7/365.  Can’t imagine not having it. It pretty much stays on the same frequency and volume, although occasionally with will blare like a fog horn.  That can be annoying as shit.

I haven't pooped in 60 hours.
Monday at 7am.
Might have to do a shot of olive oil if the urge isn't there tomorrow morning.

It should be the size of a banana and float. Or so I’m told.

Daddy likes to give a warm sudsy enema, and make his naughty girl hold it for five minutes, while he rubs her clit.

If not, eat some celery and take a Ducalax.  Finch approves this message

I am completely bored. I have nothing to do. I've got dad's meatballs done for tomorrow. I can't find anything I'm interested in to watch, and I'm not in the mood to read. Been a long time since I've felt this bored.

I don’t think I’m going to be able to find a job. I have filed for my Social Security, but it is not going to start paying soon enough to keep a roof over my head. I am working with some family members, I think I have a plan, but is anybody’s guess if this is going to work or not. I’m terribly depressed.

So sorry love.
Makes no sense why that firm didn't contact you. It sounded so promising. I hope this plan works. 🤞😘

It's always been my understanding that inviting an applicant to a job interview puts the company or organization under a moral, if not legal, obligation to provide reasons for rejection upon request.

Leaving someone in limbo, not knowing if they did or said something wrong, is irresponsible and cruel.

Hang in there, PH, and don't let it get you down. Job opportunities appear when you least expect them.

The real problem is simply ageism. No one wants to hire someone in their sixties. They all want to hire someone in their twenties.

Lots of young lawyers in their 20s willing to work 80 hours a week for not much money. My last boss was three years old when I passed the bar exam. I am the same age as his father. And I think he had some daddy issues.

These youngers will work 80 hours a week for half the pay. And they have no experience or judgment to rock the boat. Most employers don’t want creative thinking, ethics, or professionalism. They simply want robots.

I'm sorry.  This stinks.  At our employment, we went for the experienced people.  Always willing to give someone a start, but the experience is where we had the most success.

They don't know what they're missing out on.

I have to confess:

When I first read about the shooting at the Trump rally my first thought was, "Too bad the shooter wasn't a better shot."

I'm not that guy. As much as I disagree with him and fear the damage he may do if re-elected, assignation is not the answer. It's the ballot box where this country makes those choices.

We know what my first thoughts were, I've long since changed my mind, that it was something he staged. I've seen enough now yo regret jumping to conclusions. What I'm fearing now is hearing about how courageous him and his fanatics are going to claim he is, even though he was a draft dodger. He got lucky, that's all. Pure blind stupid luck saved his lying orange ass.

What I'm also hating now is how the right is blaming the entire left for the actions of one person.
