Where did all the stories go?????

Maybe they need to crack down on twitter as there is videos on there showing women with k9's having fun.
Videos of family members well thats what they say and even confession pages where both male and female talk about wanting to have sex with family members.
In most countries the age of concent is 16 so i get why they would want young teen stories gone but even on the kristin site its self there was the odd snuf story or ones with incest or animals so im guessing there now gone as well.
It seemed this site had a more open policy on stories then say literotica did as most of there stories were more on the tame side.

Everyone is free to voice their compliant. That doesn’t change the reality of the situation, which is that the ongoing viability of this website depends on everyone’s willingness to respect the arrangements made with our new web server.

If we lose our web host a third time, I sincerely doubt this website will continue to exist.

Going back and looking at the stories in the archive section before they stopped adding more stories there were lots written on the subjects that were removed from the board site.
Going back and reading these stories of snuff and way underage or animals or family and you begin to wonder why these stories still are there but yet more modern stories have been removed.
I understand that the mods have to follow the rules laid out by the host server and maybe some time in the future they will allow the stories

From what I understand: asstr site and this site have zero connection to each other at all anymore, KA long ago went dormant, and this board continued on its own, it may have originally spawned from a group of people who shared an origin from there, but it has very much become its own thing since then, they do not share hosting at all, so what applies to asstr and what applies to this forum are completely different things.

We are not related to Kristen’s Archives. We merely had a friendly relationship when all of this got started about 15 years ago. But we have different hosts on different servers. And what happens (or doesn’t) over there has *nothing* to do with what happens over here.

My stories in the Author page (link in signature) now have an indication if stories have been removed (3 or 4, I think).

For UA I don't see it as a major rework to change stories where characters indicated as 16/17  should have been 18. Probably there are lots of stories that fall into this category.

But that still leaves the INC issue. Shame really, as in adult fantasy world I don't see it as a problem, and it looks like it is not a restriction on sites like Literotica. But the rules is the rules I guess. Not sure if there's a way around it on KB.  Would a story involving 18 and 19yo sisters and their adoptive parents be OK, as long as the sisters didn't have sex with each other?

Right now, anything toeing the line is being removed.  There is a possibility of changing web hosts and allowing some of this content back on the board. Time will tell on this.

As for removed stories.....I will be putting up a post in April (when I get back to Michigan) where people who have had their stories removed, can submit a request to me where I can supply the author with the story to fix it.

With perfect hindsight, I can't help but wonder if giving certain types of stories their own forum was a huge mistake. I assume that was not the intention, but it seems that by doing so, some categories of pure fiction were illuminated in a glaring light, which made it easy (for people who don't understand that fantasy and reality are two different things) to find them and complain. Previously, when stories were just lumped into SSBM, there didn't seem to be a problem with complaints to the hosting company, at least not to the point of having the site suspended multiple times.

I know of at least three other sites that continue to have stories with underage characters and/or incestuous adventures which have never been suspended (to my knowledge, and I frequent them almost daily). I'm not going to name them, lest I direct some close-minded do-gooder to attack them as well, but I have wondered who hosts them.

The thoughts expressed above are strictly my personal opinion and are shared simply as observations, not criticism. Just my two cents worth, if you will.

I've always had, and continue to have, the utmost respect and admiration for those who work so tirelessly to keep this site operating. It's a labor of love, and greatly appreciated by all the regular members here, even though we don't express it often enough.

Yes, yes, of course. But they have extended the ban to non-consent... and our sister site is called RAVISHU.

See the problem here? Non-consent is the very essence of Ravishu. RU is a lot bigger than KB and it's a site intended for adults who have rape fantasies.  Lois has a contract with the host, who should have been aware of the nature of RU's content when they signed. Yes, there can be some changes in rules along the way, but this goes way over the top.

If Ravishu goes, KB goes with it.

Actually, KB is *bigger* and not too longer ago had a great number of members. RU is really a site for rape fantasies, while KB was a site for just about all fantasies.

Actually, it's pretty sad. KB and RU are adult sites. But we're not allowed to have adult content because some assholes want to act like children, throw tantrums and threaten people just for being happy and not hurting anyone. I've been on KB for thirteen years, and lately it feels like the fabric between two dimensions has grown thin, and someone I've stepped into this alternate dimension where everything suddenly sucks.

I think the first stories I read here had some UA elements to them, and they're the reason I originally decided to register, so I could comment on them...

Yet, in a way, I welcome the move. Maybe not so much the bestiality and incest stories, but the UA material tends to attract certain types of users we don't need around here.

I registered when there was already a rule that characters had to be at least 13, but over time I found some of the old discussions regarding this rule, as well as some old stories that had been overlooked. There were (examples of UA sexual instances removed by moderator)

The +13 rule surely caused some to lose interest and leave the site, but those people tend to be very obsessive in nature, and I know since I've registered there have still been some authors trying to sneak in younger characters and users asking for stories with younger characters. ...and no matter how much you argue that getting rid of everything where the characters are younger than 18 is censorship or a "thought crime" or whatever, it's also true that the ones that obsess about these stories - the ones that aren't interested unless some prepubescent girl is jumping on every dick in sight - have a tendency to attract the authorities and to repel good site members.

KB will live on, stronger than before.

The board was shutdown for about 3 weeks by the hosting company.  It was brought to their attention that we were posting illegal content.  The hosting company agreed and suspended our account.  Lois and others were in communication with the hosting company and explained the situation.  We agreed that to continue we would remove all of the following:

• Incest
• Bestiality
• UnderAge (younger than 18}
• Rape/NC
• Snuff

As for FOXI's stories.  She removed them herself, which is an authors right to do so.  She changed the post of each story to "No Story Here".   Once FOXI did that, I moved the entire board so that it would not show up on the forum.  If FOXI ever wants to post her stories here again, she knows how to reach me.

If we want to continue keeping KB up and running, we have to play by the rules, which we always have tried to do.

If you only watch football on TV, and don't actually give money to the team, you're not a fan and you can't have opinions on changes to the rules?  If you don't write for TV, you can't say that you think reality TV is crap that is ruining television?

I'm not a fan of reality tv, I don't complain about it, I just don't watch it. That's what he's saying love, you don't have to voice a complaint, you can just head elsewhere where you'll be happier. I'm not a moderator here, but I get the feeling they are getting overly annoyed and angry having to receive and respond to all the questions and complaints.

Is moving to another host a possibility, at all? If you don't know where to move to, I have a couple places in mind.
Hostwinds has a much more permissive stance on sexually explicit content, as stated clearly in their documentation.

And then there's https://liberato.io/, which is more expensive by comparison but is specifically set up with the intent of protecting free speech, especially in the realm of sexually explicit content.
