Again, it's a vision thing. I'm no smarter than anyone else in this thread, my brain simply sees the words more quickly.

Most of the time for me, the word makes so sense with the clue. I read the clue, and my brain goes off in a blind walk in the park twittling its thumbs, and when the answer is found through other clues, I'm still dumbfounded.

I am not afraid to say, that yes, most of you in here especially you Barb, are in fact, quite a lot smarter than me. Getting this particular one done in 31 seconds is mindblowing.  Woo to you 💋❤

Nope.

It simply shows that your and my brains work in different ways. I'm not "smarter" than you (or Toe, Julie, PS, ODK, or anyone else). I read a lot, and I have for decades, so I have a slightly larger vocabulary to draw from. But that has nothing to do with being smarter.

I envy you for several different things, and that's how the world works.

Honestly though, I have learned and been corrected by a number of your posts here. I don't think I'm dumb, just not as smart or educated. I'm fine with it, and the fact you say you envy me in certain ways (even though you shouldn't) definitely makes up for it LoL!

Messed up with one across then as I started my down words, started backspacing and I was removing letters from other words.  One day I will get used to filling in and erasing in an efficient and correct manner.

I quickly started typing "feng shui" as well, before realizing it wouldn't fit. And I didn't know the name of Phoenix's NBA team.

But I got all the downs fairly quickly (there's a CVS two blocks from where I live), and that showed me "vibe check" (an expression I'd never heard before).

Finished in 0:34.
