I always leave my chat client there in the chat, as I am mod/op there and need to keep an eye on it and what happens there.
The web chat is or was when I looked at it a bit flawed on cell/mobile/phone browsers, in that it will not show the user list, so people will think the place is empty and most people also only stay there a few seconds and even when I am there and looking it takes me longer to react than most people give me, I am old and slow, and do not focus 100% on the chat all of the time, as I have other things I do too.
I suggest to those who want to chat on cell/mobile/phone or even on pc/win/linux/mac to find an irc client for their device that is good for their needs then connect that irc client to the Rizon network, and then join the channel #RavishU that is what the web client does, any good irc client is going to beat the socks of the web client, of course it requires a separate program/app rather than just your regular old browser, so it is perhaps not as easy. However since the web client on phone last time I checked failed to show the user list at all it is clear to me that it is not really great at least on mobile/cell/phone.
Anyway my client is online all the time (when I have power and internet), and if I am at my computer I am there too, but I am slow, so have patience and you may be able to talk with me and others
One more thing, if you want to use the web client in your browser, it is better to open that in a separate tab, as the web client and irc does not work like discord or similar, it will not load messages that happened when you were not there, so if you have a separate tab it should be able to remain connected while you use another tab to browse the forum, and you can then have more time to meet others and get replies to your messages
