I was a little curious about that myself, seeing that this is probably one of the most sanitized, non-threatening, closed-minded, free speech "as long as you believe the same as we do" boards I've seen in recent years.  And I'm not even talking about the banning of certain kinds of stories that seem to still get published on other websites.  I'm talking about the free exchange of ideas.  This is a club where if you don't agree with the senior members, you are treated like an outcast, and everyone knows what I mean.   All of that aside, yes, curious, how does a bored like this... whoops... board like this get closed down?

It is very likely there was a delay in the payment of the hosting fees getting to the host, that is all this time, I am fairly sure.

Some of your diatribe is true.  Fact of the matter is the owner/admin  prefer a vanilla media.  Many here,  speak  freely and have their own opinions. I have been set down for  bucking the system .  Yes there are some that are standoffish  and take exception to  different things but like most things in life, if you extend a hand  you gain respect.

Do you have any specific examples of how your free speech was proscribed by the Board, it's owner, or its moderators that were unrelated to the necessary content restrictions put into place to keep the site from being banned by its host?

Staci's right: There were instances -- in the past -- when members were temporarily or permanently banned for what appeared to me to be disagreements with the content of their posts (unrelated to hosting restrictions or violating board rules). I very strongly objected to those, including one in particular where I disagreed with the poster's content in virtually every respect.

Meanwhile, everyone doesn't "know what you mean," and without examples, you're just whining.

I have to be blunt with this. If you don't like how things are done here, agitate the gravel. I have never seen anyone called down for having an opposing opinion, but thats what the aren--1408 is for. Now if you advocate for the stuff that was removed so that the site can remain operational, that is on you. Its banned for a reason. Ever since I joined I have not been bored. Me and MissB disagree all the time, and yet we can remain cordial, civil and even friendly at times. Its all about context, or are you one that thrives in a place where everyone is at each others throats for no good reason but because you can be? Politics aside, I have never felt ostracized in the least. If I don't like an opinion, I am not going to cut them from my experience, but I wont reply to threads either. Most of the people I know on here are absolute gems to banter with.

It is no big deal. This exact same thing happened last year at this time, when payment for the server did not get to them before they turned the site off.

As far as all the ranting is concerned, Rainwater gets his panties in a knot every now and then. So just let him scream. But do it in Room 1408 please.

One reason why I am on here and have been for almost the inception of the forum, it is safety for a lady or woman in that no one says "show me your tits" or wants me to send a "pic". Most all other forums or boards that I have occasioned have been just like that, You, Rain, not being female, may not realize how important that is to feel comfortable

I think the forum has evolved through the years into an online cocktail party. We talk about food, travel, music, sports, literature, beverages, and yes, sex. But we’re not so focused on the sex that everything has to be about “extreme” subject matters.

This happened for two reasons. First, in 2018, we decided to eliminate anything involving underage content with ages 13 and below. And that set off what I refer to as the “pedo bear war“ which more or less decided if this forum was going to be about child pornography, or something a little more diverse. it was tough, we lost a lot of members, but in the end, I think the board was better off for it.

Then in 2022, the site got shut down twice. An individual who referred to himself as “concern citizen“ made numerous complaints to authorities about KB’s content, and got it booted off two different servers. So we were forced  to impose additional subject matter restrictions. It has nothing to do with “free speech“ it simply has to do with Do we want to continue as a forum or not? And if we do want to continue as a forum, we had to impose additional restrictions on subject matter content.

But I agree 100% with Staci, we don’t like new people to show up and start sending dick pics to everybody, or hitting people up for sex. KB is more like a family. We have each other‘s back. And nobody is going to sexually harass my friends.

I'd like to echo Staci and PornHubby's comments. The KB moderators do a magnificent job of making sure that members are shielded from harassment, both intentional and accidental.

For this I'm very, very grateful.
