Leadfoot, I couldn't agree more with what this retired Police Officer states. He's dead on about all the money that flows out of one pocket and into the next. My major complaint is with Insurance companies. But that's another thread entirely.

Good post man....

Good video and good point.  Big pharma and the alcohol companies have paid big bucks to keep marijuana illegal.  But there's another elephant in the room many folks don't know about, and that's all the money coming from the Drug Cartels themselves to keep these drugs illegal.  They know if legalized drug prices will drop and they will face intense domestic competition.  Marijuana is very easy to grow and they know it.

LOL.

"Six months later they are fired."

How long do drug tests take to run?

I would suggest their apparel had little to do with their termination.

They were not fired for drugs tests, but because of their opinions.  It takes a while to fire someone for their opinion because they have to wait a while so that it appears they were not fired for their opinion.

I worked briefly in employment law.  In this position I found that employment legal experts advise client on how to fire people for illegal reasons and not get sued.  This is one of the tricks.

Yes.

No law enforcement person would EVER use illegal drugs, including pot, especially those epousing its legalization.

No, Sir.

And you know they were fired for their opinions, how?
Because some guy in a cowboy hat on a Youtube video said so?

Oh, no.
That's not all.

They were fired for their opinions, but not right away, but later, so that while we know that they were fired for their opinions, we really don't believe they were fired for their opinions.

Sounds like you should have become a whistleblower.
I mean you were aware of the illegal activities.

It could be possible these were the very cops who verbally abused a driver who had refused to allow his vehicle to be searched without a warrant.

Or those rotten cops who roughed up the White Grandfather who was walking with his Black Granddaughter.

(I take it you wanted THOSE ones disciplined at the very least, or perhaps fired?).

GaryMN_2008,

You are rambling again. Either cease or get some help.

Thanks.

Leadfoot:

I used little words.

What are you having a problem understanding.

I am sure I can dumb it down for you.

Seriously.

Gary,

It wasn't a 'gotcha' moment. It was a fact.

Yep.

You just keep telling Momma how good you did, as she brings you your PBJ and milk.

Gee Gary, why don't you post something thoughtful?  Why are all your posts full of snide comments and argumentative questions?

Clearly you are a modern right-winger so I know the use of logic or reason does not come naturally to you, but give it a try ok?  It won't turn you into a liberal, I promise. It might even turn you into a real conservative!

Historically conservatives have been able to make intelligent arguments.  Do you remember William F. Buckley?  Now there was a man that could make a person think!

But still, try to forget all the stupidity going on among the American right and try to make an intelligent argument, ok?
