An Ode to My Toys
I saw you sat upon a shelf
How I wanted to please myself
Blue in colour how odd
I bought you none the less
I wiped you clean
I gave you some life
How you gave me pleasure
That first time
I gave you a home
A little black box all of your own
You sit in my top drawer
All snug and warm
One day I felt you might be lonely
So quite happily
I went back to the shelf
And found us a new friend
I went for a different colour
I wanted you to feel unique
So on the advice of another
I went for something curvy and pink
I have to sadly say
You became obsolete
That wasn’t your fault
It was my technique
So being a woman
I wasn’t happy with just two
I had to get another
So back to the shelf
I looked around only to find
Something new for my behind
All clear as ice
Slender and new
I knew you both would understand
So I gave you a present
A bigger box you all could call home
Over time you have given me pleasure
I wont mention the others
I love you all the same
But deep down you are my favourites
Lets go and play a game
