damn good question toe. Hope someone knows of an app that can help us.

For songs that are playing on the radio, I used soundhound but have switched to Shazam. It works a lot faster

Soundhound is free also, just slow to load and needs a longer sound bite to get the title for you.

I realize this will be of absolutely no help, but there is, in fact, an app for that.

I can't recall where I saw it (perhaps on Kim Kommando?), and I can't recall if it's an app or a web site, but there's some something somewhere where you can tap the keyboard in time with the rhythm of the melody, and it uses that to determine the song in question.

I was googling for a funny movie sketch on a music store guy you could sing any song to and he would recognize it. Didn't find it, but stumbled on this. Holy shit.
