I didn't feel the reason for posting deserved it's own topic.  So I just created a 'college football' topic.

I'm very close with my brother in laws niece.  So much so that she calls me aunt.   We text and facetime a lot.  She goes to Western Mich Univ and is a football fan and I'm not really, but I'm excited that she is excited.     Western Mich is undefeated at 10-0 with 2 games left.   Ranking of 14.   Yes they are a MAC team but they have beaten two BigTen teams.    There is talk about them being a possible team in the playoffs.   I think AT LARGE bid is the term.

So if you want to root for an underdog.    Keep an eye on Western
news link for last nights game

I love his attitude. He attacks each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. I model my behavior by him.

Two teams remain undefeated.   Alabama and Western Michigan.

My niece was coming back home this weekend and we were actually going to spend Saturday together.   The little stinker is staying in Kalamazoo for the game on Saturday now, because ESPN will be there.

Guess I'll watch and try and see her.   Shopping and lunch moved to Sunday.  :)

As a buckeye, that game today was one of the hardest to watch, most thrilling in the end and literally to the end could have been anyone's game. Harbough has done wonders already for the Michigan program but as a buckeye fan, I would like to see the buck's continue to beat them.

As for western Michigan, I have kept an eye on their wins all season. My hat is of to that coach. I remember seeing him in locker room video last season before they played the buckeyes. Thinking it was week 5 but can't recall. Seems like a good guy, good coach and a sensible coach. Harbough, i'd say not so much. Hardcore guy.

Rooting for Clemson.  Hate the Tide.  Despise Saban.

Alabama has appeared in five of the last eight title games.  They dominate in recruiting, offense, and defense.  They are slowly squeezing the life out of college ball, the SEC, and the college playoff series.  Clemson will probably lose also.

I thought Clemson had a good chance of beating Alabama after they beat my beloved Buckeyes so badly.  :'(

Alabama probably could beat half the pro football teams. Obscene what their coach earns to coach players.

I guarantee there are massive recruiting violations and pay-for-play.  There will be a huge investigation somewhere down the road, stripped eligibility, and titles taken away.  Just my guess.  But every program that has enjoyed unparalleled success in the modern era, ultimately has the secrets uncovered.  Saban is no Knute Rockne.

I tried including myself in conversation and showing the guys at work my football knowledge and mentioned the Clemson win.

They replied, "the game hasn't even been played yet."

So, my previous post was for a Dec 18th basketball game.   hahaha.   You guys could have said something!

We are gentlemen. That's why.  8)  But with their high powered offenses, who knows?  Maybe the basketball score will also be the football score.

So far this game is going sort of as I thought it would. Alabama winning. Dominating at the line. Clemson doesn't look like the team that tore through the bucks.

Former Big 12 Schools (season, so far):

Nebraska (5-6, 3-5 conf) Big Ten
Colorado (4-6, 3-5 conf) Pac-12
Missouri (5-6, 3-5 conf) SEC
Texas A&M (7-4, 4-3 conf) SEC

How’s that working out for you?
