I think Ohio State could beat a few of the teams from the NFL.

At least for the first half I thought Wisconsin would beat Ohio State, making MJ super happy, but then the second half was played and OSU showed why they are number one.

Last night I said, Ohio State is going to lose.   I think the score was 14-0 at the time.

Dan said, "no they're not."

"Yep, they are beating them in every way."   THen I said, "I'll even bet you."

He agreed.  We agreed on the prize.

And within seconds, OSU scored.   :(
But then Wisconscin scored again.   21-7 at halftime.
And then it was just a very sad second half.

Our MN Golden Gophers should be on the list somewhere.

Either Outback Bowl in Tampa or Citrus Bowl in Orlando.

I gotta be right one one of those. The sports page says so...and they're the experts, right.

Really pissed at the slow pace of this College Bowl Selection Show.  It should take about ten minutes to post this information.  Instead they are dragging it out over five hours.

It's not about posting the names.  The longer they can stretch the show, the more commercials they can sell. :D Kaaaaching!!!

Yeah.  I know and understand that.  But knowing and understanding that does not make it any less annoying.

With a few minor details still to be finalized, this is how the 39 bowl games will line up over the month of December and into January, culminating with the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans on Jan. 13, 2020. There are some date changes among the smaller bowls, but the bigger story comes later in bowl season. The College Football Playoff semifinal games -- this year, the Fiesta Bowl and Chick-fil-A Bowl -- will be played on Dec. 28.

There are already some terrific matchups set, including a rematch of the 2016 Fiesta Bowl semifinal in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl semifinal between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Clemson. No. 1 LSU will play the first game of the playoff when it takes on No. 4 Oklahoma.
The New Year's Six features a number of intriguing matchups, but what could take the cake on New Year's Day is a heavyweight showdown in the Citrus Bowl between Alabama and Michigan, a pair of huge programs meeting for just the fifth time and first in a bowl game since 2000.

Below is the list of the 2019-20 college football bowl schedule. All times Eastern.

Michigan vs Alabama on New Years Day

Michigan is a joke.   Alabama will beat them by 20.   If the line is any less than that, I'm betting HUGE money on it.

Michigan should not be playing on New Years Day

Thanks for the list Toe. Consider my mind blown...39 Bowl Games!!!

I know I'm old, but dang I really got behind the times.  As a kid, I remember there was just the Rose Bowl.  That was the biggest football event of the year. No kids, there wasn't a Super Bowl back then.

I admit I don't follow sports. I'll root for "the home teams", if they ever have a good season and that's about it.

39 Games...hope you fans have an extra DVR, in case the other blows up from being overworked.

Also...Yea! To our Gophers.  First time they've had a game on New Years since 1968.

Why?  You’ve already answered the question.

It's not about posting the names.  The longer they can stretch the show, the more commercials they can sell. :D Kaaaaching!!!

Hours of television, millions in ad revenue, ticket sales, hotel rooms, bar tabs, even pizza delivery.  It’s big money.  The combined local economic impact of college bowl games ranges from $500 million to $3.7 billion.

Never mind that half these teams have no business playing in a post season bowl game.  Large market teams like Texas, Michigan, and Norte Dame can practically shit themselves and still get a bowl bid.  Why?  Because their fans have more money than brains.

Heisman for Joe Burrow.  Did you see his scramble against Georgia?  Unfucking believable.

I’m worried about the Clemson game. This will be a very hard fought game. To date, the Buckeyes have never beat Clemson. I’m awaiting the buckeyes vs LSU. Burrow already knows Young’s job is to ground him. Meyer should have shelved Barrett long ago. Haskins and Burrow should have been up playing.
