7. Confidentiality of all members is to be respected. Accordingly, "outing" or posting PM's, emails, chats, or confidential information with respect to other members will not be tolerated. *
8. Deleting posts, or changing thread names, will not be tolerated. Once you hit "post" your comments and work product belong to the forum. Please respect the time other members have devoted in responding to your original comment. Deletions and thread changes alter both the content, and ability to follow a thread.
9. Emails in posts must be written as follows: name at gmail/yahoo/hotmail dot com. (This prevents spam bots from clogging up the board and crashing our server. Spam bots actively crawl the net harvesting email accounts to sell to others. The buyers of these email addresses then send you spam, and lots of it!).
10. These rules may be modified or expanded at any time. Skirting the letter of the law, while violating the spirit, will not be tolerated.
* Some like to re-write cyber role-plays into stories. This is fine so long as the permissions of the participating party/parties is/are obtained.
CHAT ROOM RULES
Here are the rules while in chat.
1. You will be polite.
2. If someone says no, you will stop messaging them.
3. Aggression of any nature will not be tolerated.
4. No under age discussions.
5. If you feel harassed or pestered, or if someone breaks rule 1 to 4 you will report the member in question to the Administrator, or another moderator.
If any of our mods receive a complaint about any bad manners, they will read the chat logs and take this action.
First offence will be a personal message.
Second offence will get you a one week ban from the chat room.
Third offence will be a 3 month ban from chat.
In conclusion:
Habitual offenders will be banned permanently from KB, the Chat Room, or both.
