According to NCAA.com, after 48 tournament games there is exactly ONE of the millions of bracket forms fill out that is still perfect. That's a new record, previously 39 games was the longest streak.
Which got me to thinking about something which is probably obvious, but still profound. The 64 teams in the tournament (after the play-in games) have something in common. Every single team -- except one -- will end their season on a losing note.
The eventual national champion is the only team that will win their last game of the season. And that may come down to one or two bounces on the rim as the buzzer sounds. Isn't that right, Duke?
