What were the most popular baby names the year you were born, and where does your name fall on that list?

I was born in 1980, and the most popular girls names were:

Jennifer
Amanda
Jessica
Melissa
Sarah
Heather
Nicole
Amy
Elizabeth
Michelle

I used this source:

http://www.babynames.it/

My name isn't among the Top 100 for my birth year. It ranked at the top of the girls names list in the 1930s an 1940s, and today it ranks #933.

My given name and nick name were listed separately in the top 100 of my birth year.

And it ain’t really Jed.

My real first name was in the top 75 in 1974.
It is not in the top 100 currently
But was at the number one spot for a few years pre 60's.
I was named after a grandmother.

Middle name (Julie) is #14 in 1974.   Mom really had to think hard to come up with this one.  She just used the month I was born in.  July=Julie.

.
You might not know this, but I have a thing for Tom Brady (and Bill Clinton)

I was named after Saint Barbara.

There's a city in southern California that is also named after Saint Barbara.

Coincidence?
