Thunder lightning and wind blowing hard enough to uproot trees. The last strike had to be withing a mile of my apartment, maybe even a couple blocks away, and the thunder rattled the windows. Tornado warnings on the radio, but not sirens yet. I've got margaritas and my shower buddy, so I'm good!

Seriously though, it's a strong storm, and I dont have a basement to go into. I'm debating driving to dad's, but I dont want to be stuck out in the country side if a tornado does decide to touch down.

The worst of the storm is past. The watch has been lifted, and now it's just rain with the occasional rolling rumble. I do live the sound or rolling thunder.

Is it odd I find it relaxing, and a bit arousing?

Beautiful sunny day here in New Jersey.
However, it's going to be costly has the farrier is coming to trim and shoe several horses.
On my part (damn it) I have to clip two horses (that's body clip) ...so I'll be covered in horse hair all afternoon.

Windy today. Broken branches all over the roads, no downed trees by me, but farther south there was some pretty bad damage, and thousands without power.

We had rolling thunder and heavy rain last night. There was one clap of thunder that wasn't rolling. It hit like Thor's hammer. The house shook and my back teeth rattled. And that was pretty much the end of the storm.

Guess it wanted to go out with a bang.

I was in Calvert Texas yesterday, and drove home through Cameron. They have a HUGE tornado event underway, with golf ball sized hail. So glad we missed that.

Beautiful.  65 right now.  High of 83.

Cleaning the pool.  Cottonwood is falling from the woods near us.  It's terrible. 
My grass has a white tinge across it's surface.  I'll be cutting the lawn with a mask on.  And spraying my eyeballs down with eye-drops afterward.
Then, I'm going to relax by the pool and catch some sun.

It’s going to be a 105° heat index today. Of course, Texas never fixed it’s power grid after Freezepocalypse in 2020, so now we are being threatened with brown outs. In May. Ridiculous.

Wednesday I was at the garden shop with dad, and we got caught outside by hail. Little under a dime size. 15 minutes later the sun was shining, and it looked like it had snowed. Last two days have been much improved.

Yesterday temperature nearly 80 degrees.

Today low 70s with a cool breeze
 
As we like to say... don't  like Minnesota weather, wait 10 minutes. :D

Okay, shit got real last night at 11. Big tornado crashed but 6 miles north of me. Much damage, some injured, power out, cars flipped and cattle discovered in another pasture. Learned that when one crosses a large body of water, Lake Ray Roberts, it intensifies as there is no friction. Texas - gotta love it
