I started grinding recently.  Like in the last 6 months (appx). Love it. Love the French Press too.  I need to dabble in different flavors.  My last bag was 8 o'clock Columbian.  I just got a fresh bag of 8 o'clock Original, kind of plain.  I need to up my bean game.

I drink some coffee a gaming youtuber was selling, "Florida man coffee" its pretty pkay, nothing really noteworthy, nor exotic. I also have started liking Monsters Java. The mean bean tastes more like coffee than the other flavors, but I indulge in the new flavor Irish Cream. I mean energy drinks really are not my thing, but sometimes its easier to drop 2.50 a can than 5.25 for a large Mocha blended with two shots of espresso and french vanilla and english toffee flavors, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.

I went to the pharmacy yesterday, and bought some insulin. New vials are seemingly “stronger” than ones that have been laying around a while. So apparently, I dosed last night and drifted into hypoglycemia while I slept.

As I slept, my mind dreamed that I was having a conversation with an intelligent individual with the gift of elocution. I don’t remember if it was a technical, scientific, or legal argument, but it became quite animated. I woke up, with my son shaking me.

“Dad! Dad! Are you okay?”

“Huh?”

“You were talking to yourself loudly.”

“What was I saying?”

“I don’t know, but you were using a lot of really long words. It sounded like you were dictating a book or something!”

A Dresden Codex through a portal perhaps?  Think Interstellar. I told my son to record that, if he ever gets a chance. I would love to hear what I was saying. Even in my low glucose condition, it was freaking me out a little.

It definitely had an encyclopedic feel to it.

I had a strange experience a few days ago. In the morning when I usually take my blood sugars I got a reading of 93. Still within my range but at the very bottom.

Later that afternoon while watching TV, I started feeling dizzy and vision got blurry. I was afraid to stand up even. I had wife get my test kit and got a reading of 62, way low. I took another reading just in case tho' I knew the way I felt it was correct. Yep, next reading was 62

Next step was I had the wife bring me an English Muffin with honey.. wanted to get carbs in me quick. Not anything I've had happen in all the years I've had diabetes. Sure glad my care givers have kept me educated.

My lowest reading (before passing out) was 16.

Glad you are all alright. I myself have been a bit worse for wear. Was out with my sister Thursday evening, and I wasnt feeling all the best to begin the day. We were out and she wanted somthing to eat. I wasn't really hungry but figured some food might help me feel a bit better. We went to one if our favorite spots, and got sandwiches, and to my sisters surprise, I ordered tea. I shocked even myself with that choice.

About half hour after eating my stomach stared protesting the sandwich, and I needed to get to a bathroom quick. We were about 10 minutes from Dad's at that time, so we just went there.

Sandwich and tea came back up, and I deceide to just stay at Dad's. I laid down on the sofa for a while watching TV, and then back to the bathroom. That was pretty much the rest of that day. The next two were me just moving between the sofa, the bathroom, and my bed. All I had was water, and broth for two days.

Back home now, and feeling loads better. Allan wanted me to go stay with him, but I was already comfy so I stayed. He stopped by each day to visit. I slept through most of it, but Dad enjoyed his company.

Virus? Food poisoning?  I doubt the sandwich caused it, not enough time to do that. You were already on the highway to hell at that point. Glad you are feeling better.

Thanks everyone :emot_kiss:

Not really sure what it was. I felt sluggish that whole day, and it just got worse. I'm feeling almost 100%, still a little tired though.

I don't let things ruin my day but sure there's problems that crop up.

Last Thursday went to check something on the computer. Arrggg... wouldn't come up, just a gray screen. Tried rebooting a few times with no result. It was Friday afternoon before I could make it to the shop.

They have an interesting.policy. For $99.00 you go to the head of the line. I've never asked what happens if someone else comes in and pays their $99.00. Does that knock me back to second place.

Anyway after paying my extortion fee I left. I was told it was late in the day Friday and they're only open.a couple hours on Saturday so no doubt Monday before they call me.

Got the call this afternoon. There's a tiny battery on the motherboard. It was running low on power so they put in a new battery. Sain there was no charge. Yay...oh, the $99.00 would be applied to what ever work was done.

So, for my extortion fee my computer was repaired and I got a new battery free. I've always said if you.can fix a problem by throwing money at it, it's not a problem. :D

Now I just have to hook all the cords up again. Not being able to get down on my knees then get back up again... that will be a problem.

At the VA for a couple appointments.y wife had her home health care nurse stop by shortly after I left. Just got a call from the wife and her nurse just left after two and a half hours. She's back to having an irregular heart beat. She's feeling fine otherwise and a call to the doctor was made. Waiting for the call back now

I was ready to head home but she said no a has the cordless phone with her. Both my appointments are kinda important so I'm on edge. The final is a bone scan. Earlier I was injected with some kinda radioactive stuff and it's to "soak in" . Then it's back for the actual scan.  Neighbor is going to keep a check on the wife for now.
