I watched the entire Thin Man catalogue with William Powell and Myrna Loy.  Six movies recorded between 1936 and 1947.

Let’s just say, I wouldn’t say no...

Me either. I always thought she was very pretty.  Her and Powell made a good couple.

I have spent a lifetime looking for a woman who would let me drink with such a gay abandon. Unfortunately, she only exists in the movies.

Spent 15 bucks for a membership to HBO MAX to see Wonder Woman 84. Figured I'd spend that much, at least, going to the theater to see the flick.
The first sequence is like the first WW film, after that it sharply drops off of a cliff. The mall sequence, the second sequence in the film, is cringe worthy bad. The bad guys are cartoonishly written and performed and the sequence reminds me of a badly written, badly acted and horribly produced mid 80's TV show (maybe they were aiming for that).

When I saw what HBO wanted for WW, I told my wife “I’ll be able to get it on Amazon in another 30 days.“ I’ve really cut my new movie watching down to one or two a year. Everything that Hollywood cranks out seems to be a horribly done remake of a movie that wasn’t that good to begin with.  Particularly the comic book ones.

We watched Disney's SOUL the other night.  It was good.  I think the person that came up with the idea might have been under the influence of drugs at the time, but it worked.  I liked it.  Jamie Fox and Tina Fey were the two main voice characters.

Lol.
That is such an old movie, but yes, its good for its time, and a bit of Tom Selleck nostalgia.

I can't taste my lips. Could you do it for me?

Watched the first two episodes of the BBC's crime drama, Prime Suspect, starring a very pretty Helen Mirren. Think it first started showing in 1992.

That's true. It is very dated, but I am a big Tom Selleck fan, and the movie is simply fun to watch.

1991 to be pedantic, but yes they are very good. Seven series/stories of two or three episodes each. If you can search it out I can also recommend "Widows" from 1983 by the same writer (Lynda La Plante); I think it has been remade as a feature film.

Princess, would you like to see it light up and hum when I wave it about

Watching BRIDGERTON on Netflix.  A story set in London high society where match making and courting of the young takes place.   I'm enjoying it.  Dan watched for less than 15 minutes, picked up his magazine and said, "Tell me if there is any nudity."

I'm halfway through Episode 4.

I lasted as long as Dan, even knowing there was a hot sex scene in one of the episodes.  ;D

Jonah Hill said the f word 107 times in the wolf of wallstreet making him the actor with the highest f-word count

From what I posted in the So Irritating thread the other day -

According to a study of more than 3,500 movie scripts by the Buzz Bingo website, Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" is the most expletive-laden film of all time, with 715 curse words, more than "Uncut Gems" (646), "Casino" (606), "Jay and Silent Strike Back" (509) and the Brad Pitt WW II movie "Fury" (489).

I have only seen Casino. Any movie with De Niro or Samuel L Jackson in it will have many F bombs.

Good for you.....forgive me for laughing. Didn't mean to offend in any way. It just struck me funny, but don't you hate that auto correct. It gets to be a real pain in the ass.
