Love both songs. Leonard Cohen reminds me of Johnny Cash sometimes. They can both sing but, occasionally with some of their singing, they're caught half way between singing and talking and its like nails on a chalkboard to me.

They always reminded me of each other. There were a lot of singer/songwriters out there that were better songwriters (Dylan was another one) but the passion with which they sing their own song. You can hear it sometimes, and it's evocative.

What am I listening to?

Caliente on satellite radio, namely someone called Bad Bunny who raps in incomprehensible Spanish not even my Peruvian understands. I call him Conejo Malo to make fun of a stupid English name for a Latin ‘artist’ and mock him every time he comes on.

I’m still trying to understand how I lost control of my truck radio? Although staying on one station no matter how bad it is beats what historically happens to my radio with a girl in the passenger seat switching stations constantly and never hearing more than 1/4 of any song.

OK, maybe this is the wrong place for this rant.

I've still got a tape adapter in my van. I can plug my laptop into it, so it doesn't skip like CD players used to. (It's also wired for 12V RMS, because it's set up for libenstraum)
