I find it ludicrous that the Falcons actually said they might sit Penix Jr for four or five years. No way Cousins lasts that long. I expect Penix to be starting at some point during the season, if not the next.

He can learn from Cousins.  I liked Cousins at Michigan State.  A good guy.  If Penix adapts, it's going to be a tough unloading Cousins with that contract.  Unless someone is in the playoff hunt and has a major QB injury and they need him last minute.  Which would be good for Cousins to get a chance in the playoffs.
So strange though. HUGE contract for Kirk, and they go and draft a QB.

And LOL at Sheila. #2955

The way Caleb Williams has been running his mouth, I hope he's either a major bust (ie, Jamarcus Russell) or the next Andrew Luck (retiring early due to injuries).

Nothing like trash talking your teams number one draft pick, before the season even begins.

1. Not my team. I'm a Cowboys fan.
2. He's been spewing way overconfident bs, acting like he's the greatest QB ever, when he has yet to play a single down. Actually contacting the punter they also drafted and telling him he won't actually have to punt was the icing on the cake. There's confidence, then there's cocky arrogance. Williams has the latter.

What I'm not happy about is that the Cowboys are bringing Ezekiel Elliott back. But fortunately its only a 1 year deal.

Also, I find it ludicrous that the Falcons actually said they might sit Penix Jr for four or five years. No way Cousins lasts that long. I expect Penix to be starting at some point during the season, if not the next.

A Cowboy fan? I feel your frustration. In Chicago, it is always, wait until next year.   ;D ;D

The Cowboys have been 12-5 three seasons in a row. They are not a BAD team. They just aren’t a GREAT team.  Their last Super Bowl appearance (and win) was in 1995. Thirty years ago. I was still single, childless, and sowing my oats. In other words, a LONG time ago. My children have never seen the Cowboys in a Super Bowl game. I have seen them in eight, with five wins.

The Lions have won four NFL championships, all of which pre-date the existence of the Super Bowl. The Lions' four championships are tied for the tenth most total championships amongst all 32 NFL franchises; the last of these was in 1957, which gives the club the second-longest NFL championship drought behind the Arizona Cardinals. They are one of four current teams, and the only one in the NFC, to have never played in the Super Bowl. Two of these teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans, are expansion teams in the AFC that began play in 1995 and 2002 respectively. Additionally, the Lions have won only three post-season games since 1957. The Lions lost an NFL-record nine consecutive playoff games from 1991 to 2023, for which they hold the NFL record for worst playoff winning percentage.

I'm not one of those always optimistic fans that people make fun of as idiots (I actually somewhat agree!) I came to the realization a long time ago that the odds of them even making it to a Super Bowl again as long as Jerry Jones is their owner is very slim. His own son physically stopped him from signing Johnny Manziel! That realization hit me when he gave Romo a contract extension rather than releasing or trading him. And Jason Garrett never should have been their head coach. But I wish people would quit whining about Dak. The team really needs a head coach that is worth a damn, but that won''t happen because everybody knows that if a player has an issue, they can just go right over the coach's head to Jerry. The same problem the Raiders had whem Al Davis was their owner.

I agree completely. JJ is the problem. Hope he dies before I do.
