New puppy.  Little female fawn pug.  Nastya.  Love me some puppy.

Awww, I love puppy breath.
I'm allergic to pet dander, but most puppies I've encountered haven't developed dander yet.  So I can babysit this cutey for you if you need me to.

Took Gus Basset to the dog park again.  Our pack of four dogs, three people hooked  up and walked the icy trails (metal cleats required).

A small black dog about as high as Gus, just not as long came up and they greeted each other.  The black dog got over excited and hopped on Gus to hump a little and Gus wasn't standing for it (no pun intended, well maybe).  Still the other dog persisted, so Colt went over.  He's a big Rot/Lab mix.  He stood over the little dog and it quickly backed off.

We continued our circuit and ended up at the gate along with several other dogs.  All the dogs were milling around having fun, when the same little black dog got there and headed straight for Gus and started in being too friendly again. This time Tunco, a large shepherd type dog went over and chased the little dog away just by standing over it.  Gus has good friends in his pack.

Congrats Merv on your puppy.  Should be lots of fun.

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville

For the first time in fifty years, I have business cards with my own name and company on them.

Does that make me a grown up?

Won money on super bowl squares.  :)

Roads were bad and I had a white knuckle drive home from the party, Mark was a little too tipsy to drive.    I met a bunch of his friends that I haven't met before.
He's out with the snow blower right now.  Not sure if I'm going to bed or staying up for This Is Us.  Drive to work is going to be bad and think I should get to bed.

Enjoyed the Super Bowl.  I’ve been sick since Thursday, and woke up around 3 drenched in sweat, but no fever, no cough.  It’s like someone flipped a switch.  Just in time for work tomorrow.  Ugh.

I’m not particularly fond of the Philadelphia Eagles, but I can say this was the very first post season NFL game that went the way I wanted.  What a fucked up football season it’s been, pro and college.  May 2018 be better, please!

THE OLYMPICS

Ice skating has started.  It's live on NBC.  That's what I've been watching for the last two hours.
Mens in the team comp.   Nathan Chen our superstar did poorly.   All the men are having trouble though.

I freaking love the Olympics.

Completely forgot about the Olympics.  That would explain why the DVR did not record Superstore tonight.

A wonderful weekend with no plans.   Well, other than clearing snow.  Mark got mad at me Saturday because I wanted to help some older neighbors clear their snow.  He wanted to go watch the Olympics.  I argued we needed exercise and we ended up doing 5 of our neighbors driveways and sidewalks. hahaha, he was so grumpy.  ;D
15 degrees out but with all the warm clothes and the effort I was putting into it I was sweaty as could be.   The hot shower afterward felt great!

By Sunday afternoon I was stir crazy and needed out of the house.   We got last minute tickets to see the Broadway show 'Finding Neverland' playing in Detroit right now.  I had never seen it before and absolutely loved it.   Before the show we stopped by the ticket window and got tickets for Les Misérables.  Mark has never been to it, which I'm finding out he hasn't been to hardly any Broadway shows, so I'm excited to experience them with him his first time.  He really enjoys them.

That sounds like fun. Not the shoveling but all the rest!

Not giving a fuck.  I just made breakfast on Monday, like it was Saturday.  Maybe I’ll hit the salt mine by noon.

I saw the sun today.   It's been about a week or more since I saw it last.
