Woke up this morning to an empty bed. Was just laying there wide awake from 5:30 to 7:00 and thought of our love making session we last had.  So, I slipped out of my undies and started playing, no luck.  Got out a vibe toy, no luck.  We're a half hour in by this time.  So, I go to the shower with one of my larger toys.  No luck.

Now I'm just sore and frustrated.

Wife of my friend who's in the hospital still after breaking his hip weeks ago called. She needs a break from visiting him. He's being uncooperative with every attempt to help him. Blowing off the wife too when she tries to encourage him.

She's going to take a break from her daily visits for a couple days. VA only allows one visitor a day so I'll try to get in to see him.

Looks like life in a nursing home for him if he won't start to try working at going home.

Sorry for your friend, and his loyal wife. It is difficult to care more for someone than they care for themselves.

I mentioned that I had a Covid, Flu and Whooping cough shot yesterday.  I felt okay when I woke up, but as the day went on, I started feeling bad.  First chills, then upset stomach, headache.  It all came to a head at my friend's house.  We were sitting talking and I just went south.  Chilled beyond belief.  I was going to go home, but Barb said she wasn't letting me go home in that condition.
I laid down on her couch and she covered me with blankets.  Didn't work, I was still chilled. Then she suggested a soak in the tub of hot water.    I her bathroom is amazing with heated floors and a wall heater.  She had everything cranked up on high.  I walked in and undressed and got in the tub, slipping below the bubbles.  It felt good and took away the chill.   She knocked and asked to come in. She came in and asked if I needed anything.  "Yes, a big tub like this in my bathroom.."

She went and got A from school while I stayed there. I warmed the water a couple of times.
I could here them downstairs and I gave it another half hour, got out and dried off.  Barb had an extra sweater for me that I was able to put on.  Served up some chicken broth soup for us. I took A home, drank a ton of water, and covered up with blankets. I woke up feeling surprisingly well, but am still weak.  Hopefully I'll get a good nights sleep. Bu wide awake right now.

Watching The Mole on Netflix.   Feeling much better though, so no worries.

Glad you are feeling better. I had Covid and flu shots on the same day, week before last. The next day, I made it to the office for only a couple of hours, before I had to go home and lay down.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I'm a bit confused by doctors though. Whenever I say I somtiems put alchohol in my coffee I'll get a lecture about "mixing two types of drugs", but them they'll pump you full of whatever drug they have. All that messing with the white blood cells, no wonder you felt like that.

So sorry for the reaction you had Jules. Glad you had such a good friend to take care of you.

I had an infusion last week to strengthen my bones. A medication I'm taking can weaken the bones. While I was there I also got a flu shot. I've never had any reaction to shots before. Two days later my legs were pretty much useless and was real tired. Kept falling asleep in my chair.

Isn't science wonderful.

Thank you guys.   :-*
I'm feeling perfectly fine this morning.  I did cover up with a heavy blanket on top of my normal sheet and blanket.  I couldn't fall asleep (likely because of my evening nap), but last looked at the clock at appx 1:45.    At 2:30 I had to pee.  Fell right back to sleep, thankfully.  At 4:00 I woke up drenched in sweat.  Pushed the heavy blanket off.   Got up about 40 minutes ago.  No chills, no headache.  Feeling a little weak.    M took A to school for me. And now Barb is coming over about 10am to check up on me.  I told her I was fine and she said okay, but then mentioned she baked some lemon bread that I LOVE and she was just prepping the icing for it.   Well!  I told her to quit screwing around and get her ass over here.

And keeping with the subject topic.  What ruined my day?   I didn't win the Powerball.

I didn't win the Powerball.

HA🤣

I'll buy tickets, but forget I have them, or dont bring them with when I go anywhere. I dont bother looking it up online, just figure next time I go to the convenient store I'll check them in their little scanner.  I'll have like six or seven somtimes, and somtiems they'll be $4 ot $7 winners.

I only buy tickets spontaneously. If I plan to, then I know imma lose

I have the Jackpocket app. Buys my tickets automatically. Never miss a draw, and it adds my winnings to my balance, so I don’t have to go to the convenience store.  Cuts down on impulse purchases of beef jerky and Doritos too.

Pffft! What a waste of money. Why buy condoms when I've got a perfectly good throat? :emot_kiss:

Slurpees from 7-11.  Not an impulse buy, I go intending on getting lotto tix and a slurpee.   I'm a Slurpee ho.   They just added Boston Cooler flavor to a store near the house.
Doritos though.!!!  Ohhhhhh, It's been so long.  I can wreck a bag.

I was on a Taquito kick.  Like 6 during a work week.  It was a sickness. That stuff was fantastic.

I have never bought a lottery ticket of any.kind.  Not even a scratch off. I consider them a "voluntary tax". Also I'm afraid I'd win. As a recovering addict that could be dangerous. Just one win could send me on a downward spiral.

We haven't had 7-11 stores in the area since maybe the 80s sometime. Have to rely on two gas stations for convenience store goodies. I'm a cookie monster.

Within a 3 mile radius of my house, I have six 7-11 stores.  Most Speedway gas stations now have the 7-11 machines in them.

As for your area MS.... those Kwik Trip stores in Minnesota & Wisconsin arre great.  They had the cheapest diesel fuel and the food selections are the best I've ever seen.  Travel America, Flying J, Pilot are not even close in comparison.  We're limited as to what gas stations we can get into with the RV and a lot of the KwikTrips could accommodate us.

I agree Kwik Trips are great. There's not too many in the metro area and the mostly in outlaying areas. Speedway was SA and before that Super America. Now they've been bought by 7-Eleven. Which is funny as it was Super America that bought the 7 Eleven's back in the 80s. Everything comes full circle.

Our favorite is the Holiday Station Stores. Have the best coffee.
