That is horrible. Was reading on it, and it says they deliberately cut power to people's homes so they could guarantee the infrastructure wouldn't go without.

I agree Shiela. I heard a report on TV that neighborhoofs were without power, yet downtown Dallas office buildings were ablaze with light.

Dallas had planned a Valentine’s Day light show with downtown buildings lit up in pink and red lights, and heart shaped window lighting.  The storm hit, the power went out, and Dallas did the light show anyway.  I guess they thought it would pick people’s spirits up.  No.  It pissed a *lot* of people off.

WOW. That is a pretty light show. Hard to see if your eyes are frosted over tho' :facepalm:

How has it been on streets and highways. Here, where ppl see snow all the time, 100s of accidents are reported every te it snows
 Nobody understands driving according to conditions.

Just realized that my Boo Virgin board is gone. :(

Guess it wasn't so important if I didn't notice it missing for 6 weeks.

Maybe I'll start a 'sloppy seconds' seconds list and begin to give members their 2nd.     mmmm, no, probably not. The fun was watching them not knowing what that first time was like.

When I would fly into Dallas at night, I loved how the buildings were all lit up. Very pretty. But with many citizens in Texas experiencing  blackouts,  one would think turning off the light show would be a nice gesture.

I did it again
I could even tell last night while I was drinking, that I wont be feeling so good in the morning.

However, in search for my hangover pic, I found this one.  It isn't your full list MJ, and my circle went right through somebodies name, but there's a lot there, and the most important one is on top. I remember posting that in what made my day thread.

Word is he wasn’t.  He bounced off a wall, crossed the center median, rolled down an embankment, all by himself.  One car accident.

He was recovering from his fifth spine surgery and was planning on playing in the Masters in April. Early reports say he suffered leg injuries. This may delay that plan.

The warm temps melted probably more than half the snow around my apartment.  Then the temps drop below freezing at night.

Tomorrow is garbage pickup so on my way to the dumpster, I slipped and fell.  Feels like my friggin tailbone is broken.  Going to be standing and laying on my belly for a while
