Hold hands with her.  Not just in the beginning, but throughout your relationship.   In public.  In private.  In front of your friends.  Definitely in front of her friends.  In the car.  At the movies.   Whenever you get the chance.  It sends a strong message to her and everyone else.   Don't make her be the one to initiate it.   You do it.

Yes! Hold hands! Seek physical contact of the most mundane and innocent type. That let's her know you see her, not as a sexual object, but as a person your want to be intimate with. Intimacy is more than sex.

After 20 years together, we still hold hands. Every now and then, though, it feels weird because she's on the wrong side. We typically walk with her on my left. All is well with the hand holding. When she's on my right, the hand holding feels strange. Almost like I'm with another woman  ;D

Let her pick the movie. Yeah, it's probably going to be a crappy sappy chick flick, but your chances of getting laid will go up. Especially if you can remember the part she talks about during the ride home.

Surprise her with a note in the postal mail (have your dad show you how to address an envelope).    
Get as personal or as sappy as you want, depending on where you two are at in the relationship.   It can be as short or as long as you'd like, it doesn't matter.   That you took the time to do it is all that matters to her.    
Include something small in the envelope, like an old photo of you from your childhood.   She will likely cherish it.

Be protective of your friends that are girls, especially those without a boyfriend.   They will greatly appreciate knowing they have someone that is concerned about them.   They'll look up to you in a way, and respect you greater for it.

Compliment her.   Complimenting her in front of other people equals bonus points in her eyes.

Actually, nowadays a teenagers own parents might tell him sex, drugs & Rock 'N Roll are bad while the grandparents sneak the kiddies to the KISS concert...

This grandpa sports the protective gear and rides a sport touring motorcycle.

And I would be the first in line to get tickets if the grandkids were in town to see KISS. It would only be my 5th time.
